Went out with friends upon recommendation Parking can be nightmare so plan accordingly Restaurant when busy is very cramped and lack of space is so much evident by seating plans as you really have to squeeze in to allow people going past your table. Ambience is neither here nor there low ceiling and lighting is dim not a very warm comfy feel. We ordered platter Karahi mint soda lemon soda and kehwa afterwards. In the platter only thing worth a mention was chicken (leg) roast Chops were bland and not fully cooked (haste makes waste) Lamb tikka exactly the same Chicken tikka was so bland and tasteless that I only tried half of one small piece and that was enough. Chapli kebabs were hard almost burnt and size was very small because of that it made it hard and chewy. It was fried in extra hot oil so outside was like crusty burnt inside was hard and chewy. Real Chapli kebabs are bigger in size fried at the periphery of the big Karahi and then deep fried. Didn’t like them at all. Rice among the platter had flavour but were too oily so much oily that for any Health conscious person wouldn’t touch them. Over all platter was 4/10. Saved by roast chicken which was beautifully cooked and had real flavour to it. Lamb Karahi was more of curry cum Karahi. Don’t mind the gravy but not that much. One thing that is very important and often ignored and missed by restaurants is that how the meat is cut by butcher. They can make lamb leg feel like boneless or bad butcher makes lamb leg feel like leftovers neck fillets. This was latter. And Karahi didn’t have the authenticity as claimed by adverts and recommendations Chicken Karahi was absolutely spot on full of proper authenticity and flavour however am only referring to the balanced gravy and not the chicken meat (claimed to be desi chicken but in fact was hard raw uncooked boiler chicken) Was hungry so had to eat hence only ate gravy of Chicken karahi which was 9/10. Amazing Mint soda was decent nothing extraordinary but good enough. Lemon soda was average as they missed black salt in it. Kehwa was abysmal to say the least only saving grace with that was desi shakkar/ Gur they provided with it. Overall it was average taste and restaurant Would I go back again Answer is may be if there’s nothing better available so highly unlikely. Would ï recommend it. No Suggest to owner who is very passionate and fully engaged is that please keep your taste authentic It’s more of fusion of Punjabi food with Afghani food. Keep it Punjabi Or make it afghani Chapli kebabs Karahis Kehwa They are typically made amazingly well by afghani restaurants However your was mixture of both and not authentic am afraid. Don’t often mention this in my reviews but value for money...

A friend and I decided to have lunch here on Friday 10th. We arrived at 1.45pm, the shutter was half down.. according to their internet profile they were open but we were told that they will open at 2.30pm. W my friend to come back lat
On returning we were shown to a table and soon after us three more customers came. Through out our visit there were no other customers.
The restaurant was cold. Checking the radiator next to our table it was cold. A member of staff came into the restaurant and left the door wide open.. I had to request for the door to be closed and for the heating to be turned on.
For the second time front door was left wide open by another member of staff and I had to ask for the door to be closed and that the heating had still not been turned on… Eventually the heating was turned on.
Our order was finally taken and for drink I ordered a green tea. My friend was served the coke, but no green tea… I waited for it until nearly the end of the meal and finally had to remind the waitress that I was still waiting for my green tea.. the green tea arrived and no apology for not serving at the start as requested.
First to arrive was a salad. My friend spotted a hair ! We decided to put the salad to one side as we did not want to complain and have anything nasty dime to our food.
It took half an hour for out food to arrive. That’s when we called over the waitress and showed her the hair in the salad… Again no apology and she took it away, with no replacement.
There was one waiter and two waitresses serving two tables and it seemed like they wanted to do bare minimum for the two customer tables.
The food was nothing special… the waiting staff were amateurish and not trained or experienced.
We asked for the excess food to be packed. We were given containers to pack it our selves and their excuse was Health and safety reasons we had to do it our selves. It is normal fir the food to be taken back into the kitchen, for the chef and kitchen staff to pack it. What happened to our health and safety when the food is handled in the kitchen.
The final straw was when I tried to settle the bill with my debt card, the waitress tried to push us to pay in cash.. we pleaded we did not have cash and they accepted my debit card.
I would not go back any time soon… if you want a plasant dinning experience, go to many of the other Pakistani restaurants in Hounslow.
Would not recommend...
Read moreWe recently visited the restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a headcount of 10 people including 2 infants, and I can say we had the worst customer service experience ever. At arrival there was no one at the reception to attend/seat us/take our order as the manager herself was serving food to the customers, so we waited about 10 min to be attended, then we were asked to wait to be seated, although half of the restaurant was empty but being understaffed the tables were left untidy hence customers were asked to wait, anyhow we waited in the corridor for another 15 min to finally be seated. Then for 10 minutes no one bothered to came to take the order, so we asked every passing server and the manager herself several time to take the order, the order was placed, and we entered another phase of wait!!! We were asked to wait for 40 min till the food would be served. The main course curry items started coming in instalments without the bread (naans), I think they were out of dough, so being hungry and anxious, we started pouring curries on the pulao and started eating, we ordered 5 big naans and after 7 minutes the first naan was served that vanished in 1 minute keeping in view the no of people, then we waited another 5 minutes for rest of the naans to come, interestingly, no drink or napkins were served with food, we asked the servers a few times and finally I had to walk myself to reception to get our ordered drinks and napkins myself, we also ordered a lemonade jug and were served with single serving, then during all this chaos one of the waiter slipped and broke a lot of plates as the food serving area was stickly. The food was ok, so after our meals we thought to order some for take away as well so we ordered a few dishes for that we were asked to wait for at least 1 hour, so we went to a closest arena to spend some time and when we returned after an hour to collect our food we were shocked to hear that as they ran out of all the items we ordered, they simply didn’t had anything to serve us, really not cool, the justification was just a SORRY, above all they charged is £5 as service charge not sure what was it for and they don’t accept any major CC card rather ask for cash money. Overall it was a bad experience and would not...
