Very unprofessional staff and miscommunication. I went for Xmas Dinner with my family and was informed by the staff that we cannot take your Xmas order because the chef is still in preparation and we need to wait for 30 min for which we agreed, We luckily ordered other stuff as well which came after a long wait of 46 min, but after the wait of 46 min no staff came to inform about the Xmas dinner ,then we went to counter and were told the chef cannot make it as he is busy with other orders, It was very frustrating that staff are telling us when we went to check our order after 46 min. We have to share food between us and were still hungry , The staff has no duty towards customers as I saw other customers were also ignored and were arguing with the staff about their food. To be honest it was not busy time when we went .No idea what went wrong with your service? Most of the staff were also not bothered about the situation as they were leaving the counter intermittently and were enjoying chips themselves where the customers were sitting with the drinks only . How could staff having food and the customers who ordered are waiting. Totally not acceptable. Feb 2023: Nice exterior to the building … mid century feel. Came here for breakfast, it was fine - there was a special for two orders. Tea or coffee was not included. The breakfast was average overall. Staff who attended were attentive & the place looked clean overall. Nothing particularly memorable though.

I tried this pub again unfortunately it was a terrible experience on this occasion. I had come over from the US on vacation and wanted to take family out for food (breakfast/lunch) there were seven in our party. We turned up at opening at 11am, Saturday June 3rd 3023. We were met by a grumpy lady who seemed very inconvenienced that we there. We sat down and were promptly told the chef was prepping and there would be no food for 20 mins even though it says kitchens open at 11am. I initially said we'd wait and asked for a pint Greene King IPA, she said they don't have that even though there were pumps, I was very surprised since it's a Greene King pub. Another worker was around at the bar area and he looked very grumpy too. I am not use to this level poor service and staff attitude. We decided to leave - terrible pub. Other Greene King pubs I've visited in London are so much better. For tourists I’d definitely avoid...
