Gave this a try in place of numerous other reliably good curry places in Eltham as we fancied something new and the reviews looked good. We ordered the vegetable thali to get a mix of dishes Alas this was one the blandest Indian meals we have ever had, barely spiced at all and everything tasted kind of the same. We also suspect it to have been previously frozen then microwaved, the vegetables had a mushy texture. The sauces also are suspiciously thick, sweet and gloopy, with a lurid food-colouring hue. Ordered from Uber Eats - strangely more expensive than on the website?! Ordered Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken and Chana Paneer. Both chicken dishes tasted... the same. And neither tasted like Korma or Butter chicken. Bother were really unpleasantly sweet and the sauce was... chunky? Unpleasant texture. The chicken was cooked but with small portions. The Chana Paneer wasn't good, it tasted bland, sloppily put together. Hopefully it was a mistake and the food is usually better. The ratings are high, so was really surprised with...

The food will need improvement for sure, food is about flavours balance, salt was in excess on this occasion. Portion sizes are fine comparing with the price paid from the menu.

The hygiene control will need improvement too, the rice box had a piece of long hair on the carton lid.

I do not like to leave bad reviews or one star, I will like to give a 2.5 star review, I’m hopping the management of the business will take my review as a constructive observation and to take action from their end to improve...
