Hi!! I have vidited today for the second time, I came back.... as the food was delicious, but the service was poor, coffee cold!!! All the ladies serving were lost!! Not knowing what to do etc. I did not say a thing. I have enjoyed my salmon bun and slice of almond cake.

This morning, went again. Zero quality of service, moody girls serving.... omg!!! The way they spoken to clients,the way they sell up...I have asked for an Americano, I requested to be hot..as last time was cold...she said it s just hot water... added from here..cannot make it hotter. They barista was moody...left the cofee there...on a tray.. said tray can go now..I could not carry it..as I had a coffe, a cake and a board with bread,butter and a knife.

Furthermore, I went to buy another round and asked....can I buy this bread..( sourdough) to takeaway away? Do you slice it?.answer was you need to.cut it yourself!!!!! My friend asked to warm up the quiche...the girl said, we don't warm up quiches. Why is this service like this??? The person who bakes is sooo talented! But employing year 11... local girls, with no service standards!! Does not help!!!! They just talk about their personal lives. Etc Very unhelpful, they look 🙁... I would love to offer my help to train them. I have 2 coffe shops In France where my staff have different needs... and are 100 times more enthusiastic, proactive, they have a can do attitude, attention to detail and smile 😃 during their shift. Please let me know and I can help training the staff for free. I fully support our local business. Kind...

Completely underwhelmed! Came in within the first hour of opening & their pastries were sold out except for the raisin swirl & the cinnamon swirl thing which alone is a whopping £18 (& not worth it). I also ordered two loaves of bread - multigrain & sourdough & was given multigrain & a unpleasant tasting fruit loaf. I tried to call them to inquire about this & got the answering machine. Will update to see if they phone me back. I also ordered two cappuccino’s to go. They were half cup servings & were really gross. It seems their fancy machines make a very rank cup of coffee. Their service is sub par. Many people working but only one person serving. This explains the lines out the door - don’t let it fool you it’s not for the quality of product or the customer service. Understanding this is a new store their employees should know to give the customers what they ordered & not whatever they can reach. For total transparency- for the cinnamon swirl, the raisin pastry, two loaves of bread, to horrible cappuccinos was +£35. I guess their rent is expensive.

Update: the wrong loaf that I was given has nuts in it!! Be very very careful if you have allergies because there’s a good chance you’ll be given...

Arrived today (Saturday 7th of September), whilst 3 members of staff at the front took one customer’s order.

The lady did not really know what she wanted, kept walking in and out of the store, and kept adding items to her list.

One member of staff was taking the lady’s order, one was wrapping up the food, and one stood there.

I was next in line, and waited for nearly 15 minutes whilst I was ignored.

When it was my time to order, a glassy eyed member of staff turned to me and asked “are you being served?” - which clearly being the next person in line, and was standing there for 15 minutes, clearly I hadn’t been served.

There was no acknowledgment of the wait time and no attempt at an apology.

At the end, I retrieved my 2 drinks, unsatisfied. This wasn’t the first time the level of service has been subpar, but it will be the last as I won’t use the coffee shop again.

Westmount Road had a saying for its local shops - “use them or loose them” - I think this one is...
