I really like this coffee shop. It offers more substantial food then coffee and cake but I have not yet ventured beyond such fare. The cakes come in very large portions and are delicious. On my most recent visit I had a large slice of coffee cake with a cappuccino. It was so filling that I struggled to finish it. It also came with a large dollop of cream on the side.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and it is generally quiet on a weekday afternoon. There is free WiFi available, which seems to be used by a few patrons on laptops. The music is nice - not intrusive but well chosen for a continental or Latin atmosphere in the background. It is not loud enough to interfere with conversations. The decor is nice and I particularly like the seat in the corner by the window where one can watch the people and traffic walking by. There is also outdoor seating for sunnier days.

It is not very expensive for the quality of the food and the...

I had a veggie breakfast here. I'm not a vegetarian, but try not to eat meat a lot. There was mushroom, halloumi, scrambled eggs, tomato, baked beans, smashed avocado, toasted sourdough, scrambled eggs and a sprinkling of rocket. Everything was nicely done, and no rubbery scrambled eggs, which is always a risk. I even think they could have halved the portion of scrambled eggs and it would have been fine. Lovely toasted sourdough, too. Over 5 hours later and I'm still full from it!

The flat white was very good. I was a little irked when someone who ordered a few minutes after me got their coffee before me (a cappuccino), but then I reminded myself that it doesn't really matter and to stop being spoilt. Plenty of seats indoors and outdoors. I'd definitely come again if I was...

Just paid £9.70 for 3 bits of streaky bacon (even tho I asked for 2 rashers of bacon) and 2 eggs slapped in a box along side 2 bits of bread. Not a sandwich like I asked for just thrown into a box. I had to butter the bread myself and put my own ketchup on and make my own sandwich. The bread was also hovis thin. Got very messy with egg yolks. I dont expect much but when i am.paying £10 for a sandiwch and a drink i expect the sandwich to come pre made.. you cant even see the bacon in the picture believe it or not its hiding under the egg. The staff however were helpful and friendly good atmosphere but the food needs work. Workmen stay clear of this place Will.not...

This café has become a regular post-walk stop for me, and it’s easy to see why. The décor is warm and inviting, a cozy spot where you feel like lingering a little longer. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome right away. Their pastries are fresh, flaky, and absolutely delicious. That said, I wish the coffee drinks packed a bit more punch. The flavors aren’t quite as bold or balanced as I’d like, especially compared to the pastries. But it’s still a lovely spot to unwind after a stroll!
