Refridgerated stale food, RUN!

I first ate at this restaurant over a year ago and thought the food was well seasoned and tasted great. I gave them a 5 star review, at the time i dined-in. However, based on latest experience I had to reduce them 1 star because I could not give 0 star.

I asked my husband to purchase jerked pork and chicken on way home, he told them not to reheat the food, seeing this was take away and he was on way home.

Upon arriving, while unboxing we found that the food was cold. The food was coming from a refridgerator! The pork was cold, and parts of the chicken still had small bits of ice!

This was a big Friday evening, so obviously the food is not fresh. This was very disappointing.

Deafening music ruined entire evening (Sun 21/8/22). Decibels you'd expect at an open air event. Right in the middle of a residential area I understand from the owner of The Caribbean Cafe that I am mistaken in attributing the disturbance of 21 August to his cafe. I apologise if this is the case. However, this establishment has been guilty of the same ear-splitting noise levels on at least two previous occasions to my certain knowledge. It's disturbing that not one but two businesses think using a sound system that travels all the way up the Billet Road and beyond is acceptable. The food is good, however if you hire the hall for an event do not expect good honest service once you have paid in full (which they require 5 days in advance). My event was completely destroyed because they did not contact me regarding changes they had made to MY event times, the menu and room layout. They do not work to contract, any non-contractual promises is just fake-talk. The staff are unhappy campers (no service with a smile). Communication was zero.
