Very poor show Rum punch no rum in it. Not enough staff 16 of us pre booked only 1 waitress. They ran out of rum glasses. The food was small service very slow. We pre ordered set menus. They changed menu options numbers in between ( 3days prior)us ordering and getting there. So our option 3 [ preordered]became option 4 under the new menu so we didn't get our seafood platter with Lobster. They gave us a fish platter scabeach fish which had been frozen b4 cooked as the fillet crumbled whilst trying 2 fillet it. Hugely over priced hap hazard if it hadn't had been part of a 60th birthday celebration I would have got up and left. Parking horrendous as its next 2 a banqueting suite people had doubled parked outside by 8pm.. This is my honest view and lived experience. I wasn't going 2 eat but the chef did me prawns crab legs( I had 2 ask 4 the utensils) in ginger and chilli which wasn't bad but but Hugely overpriced @ £40.. A large party pre booked for a birthday celebration, so set menu options pre ordered. On arrival we were shown to a room out the back, part of it was by the back door which was constantly in use by staff. This part was not lit very well and was full of cushions. We waited an hour before we actually received a drink and this just tasted like fruit juice as opposed to the rum punch it was sold as. There was a mix up from them when set menus were sent to the party booker, resulting in the wrong order being brought out. This meant the original request which was for two people then became a poor offering for one.They did offer to replace, but didn't have the full ingredients to make up the original order. Also, as I had now been in the place 90 minutes and all I had been given was one drink and a starter I wasn't prepared to wait another goodness knows how long.
