Caspian Sandwich in Finchley is without a doubt one of the best spots for Persian fast food in London. If you are looking for authentic flavours, generous portions, and freshly made food that feels both homely and exciting, this is the place to go.
The menu is full of classic Persian-style sandwiches and dishes that you don’t easily find elsewhere, and everything I have tried so far has been full of flavour and quality. The meat is always fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked, and the bread is soft, warm, and made to complement the fillings beautifully. The balance of spices, herbs, and sauces makes every bite delicious. It is also worth highlighting that everything here is halal, which makes it such a fantastic choice for families and anyone who wants halal-friendly fast food without compromising on taste or quality.
The service is excellent too. The staff are friendly, polite, and really welcoming, always happy to explain the menu or make recommendations. They make you feel at home and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.
The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, which makes it a great place to grab a quick bite, sit down with friends, or even take food away.
Overall, Caspian Sandwich is a hidden gem in Finchley and truly the best Persian halal fast food I have come across in London. It combines authenticity, taste, and value in a way that keeps you coming back again and again. Highly...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars, I would. The quality of the food has dropped dramatically, and I regret ever being a regular customer. I ordered a Bandari sandwich today, and it was absolutely inedible. It was overpoweringly bitter from an excessive amount of pepper, and shockingly, there were no onions—an essential ingredient in a proper Bandari. The sandwich lacked any real flavor, simply a poorly balanced and over-seasoned mess. It was so unappetising that I had no choice but to bin the entire meal.
When I called to express my concerns, the response from the owner was both arrogant and dismissive. He insisted that their Bandari is “one of the best sellers.” Perhaps it might be a popular dish, but after tasting it, I can confidently say I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The claim of being a “best seller” seems to reflect a lack of genuine quality control rather than an actual customer preference.
The combination of terrible food quality and a dismissive attitude from the owner makes it clear that this is the last time we’ll be ordering from here. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to think twice. I’m not one to ever leave a bad review as I understand that sometimes it happens due to the business of a restaurant, however this was completelyyy inedible and on top of that, the owners response made the experience a whole lot worse! So...
Read moreI'm so disappointed with this so-called lounge, which is not a lounge is just a take away shop. The "steak and chicken" was unbelievably dry and tasteless, I had to keep adding sauce to it so could eat it. My guests had "maghz o zaban" which was also tasteless and extremely dry. I the end they charged them extra cause it was served in an open box rather in sandwiches, their reason to my surprise was open portion is bigger and more amount. Plus they charge extra for Parsley and onion without mentioning it in the menu and their excuse was everybody knows about our prices. And if we mention it customers will get upset. (what happens if you have new customers who doesn't know about your prices?) Furthermore The owner is rude, greedy, disrespectful and is charging customers extra without them knowing it "cause no one asks." cause is only £0.50 or £1 or £1.50 however multiply these by 50 customer for only half a day you can see how much they are earning from each customers without them knowing or ignoring cause is not worth mentioning. I'm appalled for such a behavior... Customers not only pay for good, clean and tasty food but also...
