DO NOT EAT HERE EVER...THE WORST SERVICE EVER!! THE MOST RUDEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I ordered a take away of prawn on toast, thai green chicken curry and steamed rice that i picked up myself. As soon as i get home and open the container, i realized they have made a mistake and given me tofu green curry. I call them to tell them of this mistake and the lady says to me ohh they must have made a mistake in the kitchen. No apology or nothing and then she said she'll deliver me a chicken green curry to my house. I then said what about the rest of my food, it will be cold by the time you bring me my curry! The lady had the nerve to tell me i have a microwave - use that!!! I was absolutely shocked my this response. Most places when they make mistakes, rectify their mistakes by firstly apologising and then offering to make it up with either taking it off the bill or sending an appetizer or something on the house. Instead this lady was so rude and didn't care at all as when i said how can you tell your customers to reheat their food in the microwave, especially prawns as it will get rubbery, she had the nerve to shout at me and said either i microwave my food or they'll come collect my food and return my money and then hung up before i could even say anything. I then rang back after 5mins to speak to a man, when i told him what happened, he didn't care either and said the same thing and said he'll pick the food up and return my money!! I was absolutely gob smacked by this kind of service! When he came to collect the food and return my money, the first thing he said is where's the food and to check it before he gave my money back and he didn't even apologise or anything!! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER...CLEARLY THEY HAVE NO BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE...THIS PLACE SHOULD BE BLACKLISTED FOR THE POOR SERVICE AND UTTER LACK OF ACKNOWLEDGING...
Read moreIt spoilt my evening. Very rude staff. After finishing the starters the chef came to our table out no where and in a very loud voice asked us if we wanted the main course in takeaway boxes. I was like what just happened!! I said we would like to eat in to which he again replied in a loud voice looking at the clock and saying you just have 20 minutes and that he can't pay £10000 to the government for keeping the restaurant open. He was speaking very loudly and people sitting on other tables started looking as well and it was insulting. He shouldn't have barged into our table out of no where and should have apologised first and not shouted. They were very impolite. The waitress was arguing about the covid rules etc.
Only the old lady waitress was apologetic and polite about us having to get the mains as a takeaway. We left at 9.58pm and customers were still dining and being served.

More than rules, it's about how you talk to your customer. He popped out of no where onto only our table. He should have started off saying "excuse me" or something like that. He was very loud and impolite. Probably couldn't deal with pressure of orders hence must be speaking loudly and trying to embarrass us telling "you have 20 mins to finish your meal" and "I don't want to pay the government £10000 as fine". This is not the way you talk to your customers. The lady at the till was unapologetic as well till she saw that I was upset and when we were leaving. Only the old lady was really nice and said sorry a couple of times while she got us...

We have frequented Cooper Thai for over 10years. After a hiatus of 3 years we returned last night to celebrate a birthday and we were left massively disappointed hence the rating. We arrived at 7pm as a group of 7 adults and left at 10.30pm. Our orders were taken the starters took a while but we're nice and tasty. However when it came to the mains, where the order was given at the same time as the starters for efficiency we were left waiting 2hrs for food as the staff were prioritising delivery drivers. Not only did we feel forgotten, the orders arrived staggered and several people were left out as they missed items meaning some of us were waiting whilst others were eating, and forgotten orders took 15mins to come which highlights that the 2hr wait inbetween starter and main was completely ridiculous. Whilst we didnt cause a fuss when waiting as we had good company as it got to 2hrs of waiting we had asked and were told 5mins on several occasions. The blond lady that works there gave no eye contact or smile and it wasn't the face of someone who should be in customer facing positions as she is compeltely unapporachable. There was no apology by the staff, or attention given, and to say the least we were left disappointed quite deflated. We paid our bill and left and don't think will be rushing to come back based on service. I would suggest that Cooper Thai take a look at the kitchen service/operations and whether they can manage delivery and in-house service as from last night's display it doesn't seem they can do both effectively and efficiently.
