Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

I rushed to get here before 18:30 close (Clearly stated online AND on the door). I arrived at 17:58 and was REFUSED a takeaway coffee by the South Asian staff member. Reason for closing ealy: Because they need half an hour to clean. This was delivered in an abrupt way which made me feel like I was in the wrong. How dare they mislead customers and have the cheek to close 32mins before official hours just so they can get home earlier. When I asked for the manager, he told me they were not in - 'when the cat is away, the mice play'. This man doesn't set the rules, Costa isn't his small family café where he makes up the rules; it's a large corporation with its own established rules, which he must adhere to. I ordered a hot chocolate with cream. The barista used the left over hot chocolate milk in the jug to make my hot chocolate, even though I requested fresh milk and hot chocolate. When I asked her to please get a fresh jug and milk to make my drink, she started making faces. She then got another jug from the sink which was not washed. She also made my hot chocolate extremely hot and frothy. It was tasteless and I burnt my tounge. She made it frothy so she could use less milk for the drink. She filled the cup all the way to the top but after the while when the froth settled, it was only half a cup even though I paid £4.50 for this drink. Absolutely disgusted with the service. Standard Costa outlet. This one is special by being very close to a gate to Bushy Park (around 1100 acres of park land), on the High Street and having a free car part behind it (limited to 2 hours).
