Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

I hate to give this place a 3 star review after being a customer for so long, but it has really gone down hill over the last few years. There used to be a manager here called Alex that was pretty much universally loved. She had a good rapport with the customers and you felt like regular after a few visits. She also had certificates on the wall of her customer satisfaction awards, and I can totally understand it. Once she left the staff turnover went up a lot, you have new staff members almost on a monthly basis and I'm not even sure if there is a manager for the store anymore. The problem is, I think you need leadership, you need good training and not to be left to your own devices. I ask for a coffee and they look at me like I'm crazy, I have to point to it on the board before they acknowledge they do it. It's really weird. You also don't see the regulars that used to visit and it doesn't seem anywhere near as busy...

Thank you Costa coffee for hiring such good staff. I visit the stockly park Costa coffee everyday with My wife as she works close by. After my wife finishes her duty at 4 pm I drive to Costa coffee and parking is free for 3 hours. I had a heart patient few months back so doctors told me to walk so I prefer to walk at stockly park. I visit the store and always see the staff smiling and warmly greeting everyone. I have met the Manager Jimmy who is very kind and nice, met Ritik who is also very nice and good and yesterday evening I met this Girl Lucky who is also vey good and kind. My daily visit I always meet this staff who are very friendly. One good thing is during the closing time at 4.30 pm they give 50% discount on the muffins, pastries and cakes and even drinks. I love visiting this stockly park Costa coffee. Never seen this much friendly staff any other...

Terrible service, they are never open at the times stated on the door always late at opening and there always seems to be a problem with a staff member or it’s effort in doing their jobs. I have attended here for a while now but I am appalled by the attitudes of the staff. I was waiting by the front door for a member of staff to let me in as the front door was locked when they should have been opened and rather than coming to the door to apologise or explain why they were not open the lady decided to shout at me from behind the counter and I could barely understand what she was saying through the glass and her colleague was standing next to her laughing.
