Fish & spice — Restaurant in London

I was desperate for some food, and it's the only reason why I did something I never do, which is eat at a place that has below 5 star hygiene rating.

Having said that, I struggled to make my mind up due to the many things on offer on the menu. Many nice things on offer and to try.

I chose curry meal deal and was suggested to try the butter chicken curry meal deal which came with the smallest amount of rice ever but a nice nan on the side alongside some salad.

Overall, definitely worth a try. Suggest to call in advance to order so you are not waiting.

Considering such a vast menu, I wonder if this, like the kebabs and pizza, fish and chips,...

Recommended by a colleague at work who knows the person that owns this establishment.

Food was ordered for the section at work & we all ordered the masala fish burger that we saw on the menu & it was absolutely delicious, everyone loved it, it was a proper fillet of fish marinated in masala sauce & it was delicious 😋

They also do masala fish & chips & masala pakoras too which I will try out on another occasion.

You won't be disappointed ordering the masala fish burger, trust me 👍👌🙏

In recent weeks it has gone down hill. I understand the owner is busy opening a new store in Hounslow, this is affecting the quality of the food from the Hayes Bourne Ave store. The ingredients quality seems to have gone down. This was the so called ‘fresh’ donner I bought this afternoon.

Visited Fish and Spice again this afternoon for Dahi Puri, 23/08/25. Absolutely awful, the potato filling was raw.
