Cox Pippin Cafe — Restaurant in London

Normally don’t write reviews for places but this little café is the exception. We went here for the first time yesterday. The lady serving chatted to us while at the till and even though it seemed quite stressful she remained calm and smiley to all the customers. We ordered a latte and a hot chocolate with all the trimmings and were so impressed to see a snowman on the latte!!! Both were delicious. When she brought our drinks over she patiently explained to our daughter how she made the snowman and invited us back in a couple of weeks time to see all the Christmas decorations. Normally when we go to a coffee shop, you don’t really talk to the workers except to order so we were pleasantly surprised with the service received. Staff are rude and disrespectful. Threatened by the ‘manager’ to move indoors or she would become ‘aggressive’. No masks or COVID guidelines in place and she spat very heavily as she spoke over and into a glass of a water ordered by a customer. She appeared unkempt and angry. Requested menu and told they had none. Physically assaulted by the staff at this Dark and dingy establishment. Staff particularly the manager is incompetent and could do with a customer service qualification. Excellent customer service, takes time and care with every order and every customer. They have regulars who are looked after and cared for. Its lovely to see. This kind of service is rarely seen these days. Food is handmade and lush. Awesome pesto, mozzarella, olives and sundried tomato toastie with one of the best pumpkin spiced lattes I've had.
