It's very pretty park has a few big dipswhere it was once used for some sort water storage it's grassed over now but quite steep dips quite a few very large old trees some at moment have a circle of flowers round them quite a few benches at top of the big dip a play area for children with swings slides etc quite a few gates that a few mum's with buggy /teenagers seem to leave wide open which is not good with dog walkers as very busy main rd why they cannot shut gates there is quite a few dogs being excised in park most time of the time I saw one run out into the road due to this and run across the rd it was very lucky also plenty of bins for waste and dog waste bins to so not a bit litter anywhere small tennis court by main gate shame no toilets and none near ...

Went today 4 a stroll & enjoyed all nature's habitants in & around ponds & park; Moorhens, Ducks, Pigeons, Swans, Squirrels, Green Parakeets & so much more. Winter's air very refreshing & rosey hues in early evening sky simply beautiful with what appeared to be quite a full moon. Further down river is a small but pretty waterfall & on right of grounds a great play park for young children. There's also a caged football/sports pitch for older children as well as a lovely cafe next to mini golf, offering hot & cold snacks & beverages at reasonable prices. And the toilet situation was worse than bad, they need four times the cubicles, and put NESW. On the site. And the Disabled, clearly marked. One at each location. The Beer tent is the greatest failure, in discussion with a Rotary Club man, he countered "it's not a beer festival" but I had to counter. It's a central meeting place, family and friends need to meet up . There is virtually NO seating supplied, lots of us need to rest out weary bones. So a major seating/ meeting place is needed, and most welcome by the old and infirm. The Fair is unequal to the old, ill and infirm....
