Da Vinci’s It’s been six years since Craig took over the reins at Da Vinci’s in my hometown of Hornchurch and during this time he along with his wife have turned it back into a great family restaurant it once was. You will find the restaurant in the heart of town at the beginning of station lane. The food is Italian with all your favourite dishes including pizza , pasta , mains , fish , desserts and regular specials. We’ve been visiting Da Vinci’s consistently over his time in charge and are never disappointed with the food and the service. It’s a fabulous local restaurant and the prices on the menu reflect that which is why it’s not hard to see that they have so many local regulars. Da Vinci’s also hosts singers on Friday evening’s and themed music Saturday brunches to once again bring the community together. Craig is by himself in the kitchen but has an assistant on those many busy times. The front of house is led by Giovanni who couldn’t be more friendly and welcomes you with open arms. If anyone ever asks me for a restaurant recommendation I will always mention Da Vinci’s and the feedback I receive is nothing but positive. In the last five years restaurants have come and gone yet this fabulous Italian restaurant goes from strength to strength. Even during Covid he helped the local area by supplying pasta and pizza. You could also collect or have delivered food during those times. Da Vinci’s is not only a credit to Hornchurch but to the Essex dining scene itself. So yes I would highly recommend a visit and I for one will definitely keep on giving my support in the future. Our latest visit was on Saturday to celebrate our anniversary and Craig and Giovanni did not let us down. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch including the amazing dishes on the specials board all washed down with a lovely Sauvignon from the Anno Domini Vineyard. STARTER - Here we chose the Calamari and from the specials a Burrata with a tomato and orange salad. MAINS - My wife chose her favourite dish the Linguine Vongole while I loved the fabulous Mahi Mahi with spinach , creamy mash and a sun-dried tomato sauce that was absolutely delicious. DESSERT - After we enjoyed the Tiramisu and the Torte Della Nonna Craig kindly sent us the dessert from the specials a Carpaccio of Pineapple , lime and chilli syrup with a orange sorbet to perfectly end an amazing anniversary lunch. Thank You Craig and Giovanni for a fabulous way to celebrate our anniversary and look forward to seeing you again soon.

This is one of our regular and favourite restaurants to visit not just in our hometown of Hornchurch but in the whole of Essex. We always enjoy great food from chef / owner Craig as well as excellent service from manager Giovanni. But I have to say that our latest visit on sunday was easily one of the best. We arrived to the usual friendly welcome from Giovanni before being seated at our table. We ordered an aperitif to give us a chance to look at the menu. It was when Giovanni came back not only with our drinks but also the specials that we would be in for a little surprise. Unknown to us Craig offered us an opportunity to have a charcuterie board and a beef carpaccio as starter options to which we gladly accepted. We then ordered a bottle of Montepulciano D’Abruzzo to pair with the food. So now to those starters of a Charcuterie Board and Beef Carpaccio which were both absolutely fabulous. The carpaccio was accompanied with mushrooms , nuts & parmesan while alongside the fabulous selection of meats were olives , sun dried tomatoes , stuffed pepper , burrata & salad. To be honest every mouthful was an absolute delight. After a nice little break it was time for the main course where my wife enjoyed her favourite Spaghetti Vongole. For myself I was in for a real treat as from the specials board I chose the Braised Beef with broccoli & creamy mash that was absolutely fantastic and without doubt one of the best dishes ever eaten at Da Vinci’s. Now it was time for desserts where from the specials my wife chose the Cherry & Almond Bomb whereas I had the classic Tiramisu. Accompanying these Craig sent out a heavenly Lemon & Lime Posset. We finished with a coffee to bring a fabulous lunch to an end. The food created by Craig was amazing and the service was nothing more than you expect from Giovanni and his team. This really is a restaurant that I would recommend and is also a great credit not only to my hometown of Hornchurch but to the county of Essex as well. When we asked for the bill a complimentary glass of bailey’s and port were sent to our table as a final delightful personal touch. Thank You Craig & Giovanni for an excellent lunch and look forward to many more visits in the future.

Da Vinci’s Da Vinci’s has been a long standing favourite of ours and our visit on Sunday did nothing but enhance this. It even had a massive thumbs up from our michelin star Italian friend. Owner / chef Craig cooks very good Italian food from a menu consisting of starters , pizza , pasta , grills , desserts and a small selection of dishes on the specials board. Giovanni manages the restaurant with ease and is always glad to interact with all the guests. We arrived on Sunday and the usual warm welcome from Giovanni awaited us before taking our seat at the table. The menu stays the same and there were some delights on the specials board that were actually going to go down a treat. To accompany our starters of Arancini , Polpette and the Carpaccio of Beef we chose Anno Domini Falanghina. There was then a nice surprise as Craig had made for us a special Gnocchi dish that was delicious. For the mains we all enjoyed the specials which were a Pan Fried Fillet of John Dory with clams , white wine and potatoes as well as the Pappardelle with veal and button onions. All washed down with a delightful Valpolicella. For dessert Craig had made a fabulous Chocolate Torte. A cocktail followed by a coffee brought an end to a fantastic afternoon. Da Vinci’s really is a credit to not only my hometown of Hornchurch but the Essex dining scene. Thank You Craig and Giovanni for a fabulous afternoon and look forward forward to seeing you again soon.

As a connoisseur of Italian cuisine, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a true culinary masterpiece at Da Vinci's, an extraordinary Italian restaurant renowned for its exceptional pizzas. I opted for a takeaway order, and it was an experience that left an indelible mark on my taste buds.

From the moment I entered Da Vinci's, I was captivated by its warm and inviting ambiance. The aroma of freshly baked dough mingled with the tantalizing scent of aromatic herbs, instantly transporting me to the heart of Italy. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism, adding to the overall delightful atmosphere of the restaurant.

When it comes to pizza, Da Vinci's is an artist extraordinaire. Each pizza creation is a harmonious symphony of flavors, expertly crafted to create a truly memorable dining experience. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the premium quality ingredients to the delicate balance of toppings, reflects the passion and dedication of the culinary team.

I had the pleasure of indulging in their classic Margherita pizza, and it was sheer perfection. The crust was flawlessly crisp on the outside while maintaining a light and airy texture within. The tomato sauce, made from sun-ripened San Marzano tomatoes, was tangy and rich, complementing the creamy mozzarella cheese flawlessly. The final touch of fragrant basil leaves added a burst of freshness, elevating the pizza to new heights.

Da Vinci's commitment to excellence is also reflected in their attention to dietary preferences. They offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring that everyone can revel in the flavors of Italy. I also appreciate their dedication to using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients, a testament to their commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.

Not only did Da Vinci's excel in taste, but their service was also impeccable. The staff took great care in ensuring that my order was promptly prepared, and the pizza arrived at my doorstep piping hot, preserving the flavors and textures as if I were dining in the restaurant itself. The packaging was both elegant and eco-friendly, reflecting their commitment to providing a holistic experience.

If you're searching for an unforgettable pizza experience, Da Vinci's is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're a seasoned pizza enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates the finest Italian fare, this restaurant will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression. Prepare to embark on a culinary journey to Italy, where Da Vinci's serves as your guide to the world of authentic and delectable pizzas.

I wholeheartedly recommend Da Vinci's to any pizza lover who seeks a flawless amalgamation of flavor, artistry, and exceptional service. Trust me, once you savor a slice from Da Vinci's, you'll find it hard to resist...
