Domino's Pizza - London - West Drayton — Restaurant in London

I recently visited this Fish and Chip shop as I was driving past and I saw a sign saying "Fish and Chips for only £3.90" and thought I would give them a try.

I went in to the store and the server told me that the £3.90 fish and chips was only for lunchtime, personally I am not a fan of places with false advertising just to lure customers in but as the shop itself had a couple of families eating inside I thought I would still give them a try.

I ordered a medium cod and small chips, saveloy with chips and a gherkin, and a mince beef and onion pie with chips.

I ordered to takeaway and not to eat in.

First I had to wait for the medium cod to be cooked but after it was cooked they gave me a fish that was already cooked from the heater..... which made me wonder why I had to wait for the fish to be cooked when they were just going to give me the fish that was already cooked. (confusing)

When I got home the taste of the fish was a little bland and tasted as if it had been in the heater for a while, being a little stale in the batter.

The saveloy had been overcooked to the point of mush in the mouth and tasteless. A good tasty saveloy is also crispy on the outside, not many chip shops seem to know this these days and just serve boiled overcooked mushy meat. (disgusting)

The gherkin was a little small for a chip shop to sell but that was not the problem. The skin was chewy and rubbery and the inside was a bright neon green. I believe the gherkin was either past its sell by date or had been pickled incorrectly as the taste was not right.

The chips given to me were mostly crispy bits and had been cooked in dirty oil. You can tell when chips are cooked in dirty oil because the outside of a chip is not meant to have black or dark stains. A chip is either meant to be clear so you can see the colour of the potato or golden brown.

Though at least the pie tasted fine. Its not hard to microwave that and mess it up.

Overall was a shame and I ended up just ordering a pizza.

The inside looks like a nice place to go to eat and it reminded me of a beach chip shop but I will not be going back to see if they make better food for people that eat indoors and will just go to a different chip store instead.

1 service are good, however if you ask for name who serve you Answer will be' im not gonna tell you'. This is not how you treat people who do your salary. Not every one want get you in the bed. Something changes past years. No name batch at all. Nowa days as a customer I would like to know with who I speak. I'm not sure if Mr Tom and James Monaghans would like it. However if I don't look at that pizza dough was 6 days old , still tasty. Chicken kickers supposed be 7 it came with 6. Lady at makeline was swapping topping from one pizza to another in front customer. Mixing beef and pork. No respect to religion's at all. Waiting time: been told 10 minutes. As you could see on screen there was only 4 pizzas before took 17 minutes . 3 pizzas in 39 seconds doesn't apply here. Also alcohol sanitizer used for hand and than touch to dough. As I mentioned before wouldn't recommend for Muslim people. Even lady who served and made my smile, doesn't change fact that customer service and food wise in local domino's is very low. We order half tandoori hot & half veggie supreme. On Friday the person who were on the phone couldn’t understand what I was saying ! Then I had to cut the call and had to ordered over the till because couldn’t understand a word. Today on Monday we again ordered the same pizza we live in hayes from where we live it takes 20 minutes to here. When we open the box it was only tandoori hot. We had to come here again and when we came here, the second lady just took the pizza and went back. She had no manner’s that they should apologise but instead she stated arguing. They had no idea what they are doing. They are working preparing the pizza with the gloves which is ridiculous. On front desk you should have experienced or atleast well spoken staff who can understand the language. The manager was there too but when he saw we came with the pizza back he went at the back station and didn’t come which is so unprofessional. Least deserved branch . While staff should get...
