Do not come here if you’re vegetarian and do not wish to be ridiculed for the duration of your meal. I asked about the only dishes on the menu with a (v) next to them having parmesan in the ingredients list, the waiter did not know if it was vegetarian or not ( as anything named parmesan has rennet in it which is not vegetarian but there is a vegetarian version which has to be called ‘Italian hard cheese’). From the start he was very patronising and reluctant to ask what was used in the dish. Once he had asked the chefs what was in it he returned to tell me not only was it non vegetarian parmesan but it was also put throughout the dish so not possible to take out. After a few rude jokes about how long i was taking to pick my meal ( considering not a single main was actually vegetarian even when labelled so) i had to resort to having a starter of tortellini which i asked once again if it was definitely vegetarian and parmesan free, the waiter confirmed. The dish was taken out to me and my boyfriend who is also vegetarian with masses of parmesan placed on top, on top of this the waiter asked if we wanted pepper on top and rudely remarked that the pepper was definitely vegetarian. On top of this when saying ‘im fine thank you’ when asked about having dessert he made a strange remark about my appearance. Absolutely disgusting treatment and I feel sorry for any vegetarians who have eaten here before and been lied to about having meat products...

First time to the restaurant with my partner. I’ll start by saying we felt the restaurant was very outdated very dull feel to it grey walls black chairs old wooden bar and awful music 1980s slow songs so I felt it definitely needs to be modernised. Tables are not on top of each other which was nice and staff was very friendly service was also good bit to rushed but good As for the food it was incredible the veal was like butter amazing flavours through out absolutely beautiful food probably one of the best meals Iv had out for along time it was that nice. The only thing that disappointed me on the food side was i left there still hungry two very small pieces of veal and 2/3 small sauté potatoes I was expecting more food on my plate as some dishes they was bringing out looked huge so I was definitely disappointed on that but other than that the food was amazing. Would I go back yes but just change that awful...

Ate at lunch time with a bunch of work colleagues. Was mostly empty yet service was still poor. Waiters were all over the place. We had to all get up from the table for them to actually come to us with the cheque.

Three course meal ranged from bang average to absolutely pitiful. Tiny portions like a typical “fancy” restaurant. Fish cakes had more potato in them than anything else. Sea Bass was oily and bland. Crème Brûlée was one of the worst deserts I’ve had the displeasure of consuming. A messed up custard with a distinct taste of scrambled egg.

Other colleagues ordered different stuff but had similar complaints. £40 + a service charge for whatever that was is just more salt in the wound. Sloppy....
