5-Star experience at Planet 224, authentic, fresh and a perfect place
I have dined at Planet 224 on several occasions, with my children, colleagues and community members, and each visit has been absolutely wonderful. The food is authentic, fresh and full of flavour. A particular favourite of mine is their fresh fish with Atieké, and the Jollof rice too, which is perfectly seasoned and always cooked to perfection.
The service is consistently warm and attentive, making every meal thoroughly enjoyable. What really makes Planet 224 stand out for me is its spacious, vibrant atmosphere, making it ideal for birthday parties, friend reunions and large gatherings. I have experienced lots of these events there, even a surprise birthday party! Whether it's a family meal or a group celebration, the restaurant offers a welcoming environment with ample space to relax and enjoy the occasion.
If you're looking for great food, excellent service and a fantastic venue for events, Planet 224 is the perfect choice. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I will certainly be returning. Thank you DJ Soul, Mr...

Here is a summary of our experience for a party of 10:
· Service: Terrible. Our waitress was rude, gave us dirty looks, and we had to constantly call her over for drinks. Orders were messed up despite being asked to repeat them. · Food Timing: Took about 3 hours for everyone to be fed. Meals arrived at different times. Other guests had the same experience. · Food Quality: Great tasting food, lamb ribs, beef and chicken wings were AMAZING! My chicken breast was dry and overdone. Vegetarian options were unavailable, resulting in a small portion of jollof rice and salad for one guest. · Facilities: WC was dirty (unclean sinks) and had a broken toilet. The overall layout is poor, with a tiny dance floor at the front. · Positive Note: The music was so good and the restaurant was tidy upon arrival.
Verdict: NOT RETURNING BUT WOULD...

The ambience was dynamic and lively and had an eclectic mix of people - A nice collection of sweet-looking senior girls and big boys to complement. The music was okay and mainly old school. However, the food and service left a lot to be desired. The egusi soup lacked the kind of memorable taste that is always considered a true signature of Naija joints. The service was also limp. Water was not even made available to wash my hands. Overall, a very lovely place with scope for...
