Attended the Breakfast with Santa morning on Sunday 17th Dec. Great little set up with Eldwyn(yes I knew it was you by the accent!!) making a very good Santa-very Interactive, fun, cheerful and funny. Monika orchestrated it all very well and was rushing about like a proper Santas little helper(in full festive costume which was a nice touch!), trying make sure everyone was kept happy. Only let down was the wait for food orders and it being a little cold on arrival-but it was pretty busy to be fair. Plenty of things for the kids-and adults too-to do, whilst we waited for food(arts & crafts, colouring, puzzles & games etc.) And of course taking plenty of pics of the fantastically newly refurbished bar area, beautifully decorated with lots of festive decorations/Xmas trees and lights. Overall a very good experience and excellent value for money. Will be back again for the “Festive breakfast & Xmas craft on Christmas Eve. Thanks guys, great job 🙏🏼🙏🏼🎄🎅🏼🎁🎉🍛😋

We held my Mother’s 80th Birthday party at the EARL BEATTY pub this weekend just past, on Saturday night. We had the room at the back for ourselves and ordered a buffet for 30 people. The party was a huge success, the back room was private , comfortable, beautifully decorated for Christmas, with pretty lights and tasteful decorations. The food was really good , generously filled sandwiches, and other culinary delights which everyone enjoyed. A special thank you to Christine , one of the bar staff. ( I hope I remembered her name properly) , she was super efficient behind the bar, which was very busy and helped keep our area clear and thanks to the manager , who allowed us to decorate and bring our own music and looked after us! My mother had the best birthday , the atomosphere in the pub was lovely as always and proud to have it as my Local.

Visited Friday afternoon 3/11/23 for lunch. First time since pub re decorated. Sadly Zero fish on menu. Ordered soup took half an hour to arrive at our table then almost an hour for hunter chicken served with 8 chips and meagre salard lettuce bit of cucumber/ red onion. Pub was not busy a couple near us also had a long wait for food. I did complian after meal and Lady Manager spoke to us and gave a complimentary pint of guiness and bottle of water. I hope this was a "One Off" maybe no chef Woking and a member of bar staff was trying to cover. I like to support local business so allowing the staff pleasant the Guinness was good draught. I think 3 stars is fair and people can judge by the photos.

My family and I have been coming to this pub for over 20 years. We’ve always enjoyed having lunch here. The food has always been pretty good. Today it was not very busy when we arrived but only one person behind bar to take orders while the lunchtime rush started coming in. Lunch came after 15-20 mins which was expected. Then we ordered dessert ahead of a big group of people. We then waited 25-30 mins for these desserts. As the kitchen or servers decided to put that big group of peoples lunches ahead of our simple desserts. After waiting 20 mins I asked where our order was. And the lady behind the bar said it was coming and they were a bit busy. Then after another 10 mins.. I wanted a refund but was told ‘it’s ready.. it’s coming’ No apologies. The desserts were microwaved and not very good. Frozen .. and heated up. They always seem to be sold out of items on the menu too. And this pub is not cheap. It’s expensive. I wasn’t impressed by the brown lettuce in my salad either.. I won’t be coming back for a while. I got the impression the staff didn’t understand my annoyance… but to sit with a child in a non air conditioned restaurant for 30 mins without any food was difficult! We walked out ignored and there was no thank you,...

Can I rate minus stars??? Such a bad experience here !!!! I just went to this pub for watching the football match Belgium v Brazil... Such a unhelpful and impolite staff(the young female staff) and I even felt being threatened by the male staff(with long curly hair) with severely shutting the till box which made a big noise and few second later bang something to make a bigger noise at the bar(some other customers also noticed that action was taken by the staff) because of my refund request for the super late served food(ordered with my first beer at the first half but never come till the middle of second half)!! Even they did not say sorry for the inconvenience, when I asked them to check the food...they just kept saying 2seconds with grumpy face again and again, I felt like being absolutely ignored(because I am Asian?! or why?) ! But I tried not to think that bad(related racism issue) so I tried to check how they treat other customers and immediately found that they tried to be friendly to others(because of they are regular customers?!)...I have absolutely no idea why??? I know that It is impossible to get any apologies from the staffs however I hope at least the owner also knows...

It was lovely Sunday when me and my family decided to come here for dinner. Everyone chose what to eat so I went to do order. Lady took my order behind the bar prepared few glasses of large coke, payment came through, chips in deep oil, burgers on grill. Everything looked lovely till the time when staff member informed me that they run out of large steaks and they have just small pieces. I said ok and mum suggestion to lady was that they can give 2 small it will not make difference. The staff siaid it is . Price ! After short conversation staff called manager who SHOCKED me with the horrible unprofessional attitude saying on front of us (customers) WHATS THE PROBLEM ?? Unbelievable that customer wants spent £50 and hear that they don’t have some products in stock and they are not willing to replace it because pub will lose £1 difference on steak !!! We said kindly ok ,no worries, refund please ! Manager didn’t want waste £1 of company money but wasted much more money on almost ready other meals and drinks. Well done frame manager ! I think your boss is very proud of you ;-) No acceptable manager attitude and customer service pushed us AWAY from this local pub....
