Ecklee Grill — Restaurant in London

This place is really hit and miss. The customer service is appalling, they seem uninterested and inpolite.

Have also felt racially discriminated as one of the staff members served someone, that I could only assume was there friend as they were speaking in the same language even though they were behind me in the queue. At one point I even saw the "friend" pointing at me and saying something along the lines of "Are you sure they are in front?" to the staff member followed by the staff member replying back to them in their own language.

They seem to make a lot of money from delivery services however when you walk in there is no menu board, everyone seems to be in a rush and you have to just wait around till one of the colleagues give you eye contact which they try avoid doing.

The food is generally decent but it really depends what time and who is serving you. The quantity of meat in your meals can go from decent amount to mostly salad with a bit of meat. However this is now intolerable as lack of customer services and basic manners in this restaurant makes it not worth giving your money.

The ambiance within the store is one that makes you feel uneasy there is always shouting and lots of smoke everyone seems to be in a rush, this is not a restaurant you would want to go with your family and have a peaceful meal and the experience...

Disappointed in so many ways!! I called ahead for a collection and ordered a large lamb shish kebab wrap and chips. I arrived at the time I was asked to collect (9.40pm) and found one guy cleaning up and another guy chatting away on the phone to a friend?; both totally ignored me while I stood there looking at the kebab which had already been wrapped and left on the side. Eventually the guy cleaning up came up to me and asked whether I was having chips which still needed to be cooked so he put the frier back on and while then cooking the chips, put the kebab wrap on the hot plate to keep warm. In the rush, the chips were undercooked… So what I ended up with was soggy chips, soggy salad, an overcooked literally crispy wrap and very cold lamb. There were also only six pieces of lamb which for a ‘large’ is extremely poor…what is a ‘small’? Three pieces?? And for the pleasure of this...

Food was extremely cold and lamb and chicken shawarma was absolutely disgusting. It tasted old and out of date, no taste in the chilli sauce and garlic mayo sauce, which was very clumpy. Chicken was dry and cold and didn't taste like anything but left a bitter aftertaste. The lamb still had hard grease on it making it as if you didn't even warm it up in the first place. The salad was yellow and tasted days old and soggy, tomatoes were mushy. And their large chips look like a sorry excuse for a regular. Extremely disappointing, my sister and I were craving Shawarma so badly but now because of you we wouldn't even bat an eye towards it. Some next shwarma-phobia. Your cooks need to add some passion into their cooking and perhaps invest in a cooking course while...
