This will be a rather long review but I have a few things to say about my first and last party in this club. I'll start with the good things about the club itself: the sound and lighting were really good the fact that they took a picture of each and every one that came in the club along with scanning everyone's IDs. And that was pretty much it. The music was amazing because I really enjoy listening to Toolroom but that had nothing to do with the club whatsoever. Now the things that ruined the night for me and my mates last night: âź 15+ plus waiting in the queue for the locker room, and you'd think you'll get warmer once you get inside the club? Wrong. It was just as cold as it was while we were in the queue outside the club. The smoking area was not separated from the food area or the locker room area so of course you feel the smoke everywhere you go. It was a lovely experience waiting in queue for the food for 15 more minutes in the cold and smelling of cigarettes but that was only because there was just one girl from the staff serving everyone in the queue so obviously it couldn't get any faster. Finally we got some warmth when we got into the main room. It's unbelievable, I thought it was an outdoors club, it was just as cold on the way to the toilet and inside as well. âź ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING!! The door to the main room is apparently only an entrance up to 12 and then you can only get out and not enter again. You needed to go around the food area, smoking area and go all the way to the other side of the club, what the hell? You needed to go back and push yourself into the crowd all the way to your previous place and the funny thing is that that door that's only an exit is the short way to the toilets and food hall and smoking area so of course most people are going to use it and of course everyone was furious when they were told to try the other entrance. âź I've been to many, many clubs in my years, in many European countries, I have never ever seen a more obnoxious, rude and disgusting crowd. May one never have to experience this in his/her life. The problem wasn't that the club wasn't spacious enough for a crowd like that. No, the crowd was the problem. Arrogant, pushy and disrespectful. But that's not an issue of the club so there's no one go blame here but the crowd itself. âź ÂŁ2 charge for using the ATM, really? :D âź But probably the most unforgivable thing about the club for me was the moment when a boy in a wheelchair came up to the security in the VIP lounge and asked him if he could get some space there for him as he's being pushed around in the crowd roughly. The security guy didn't let him in as apparently he didn't have a VIP ticket. Seriously? You decline a request like that from a person in a wheelchair keeping in mind that at that point the only people in the VIP area were the security guards. SHAME ON YOU.
Me and my party of 4 are definitely never going back to...
Read moreIâm writing to express my disappointment with the Sickick event at Egg London on 14/06/2025. I had purchased a 3am entry ticket through Dice, based on the understanding that Sickick, the advertised headliner, would perform later in the nightâsimilar to his previous set at E1 London on 12/07/2024, where he came on around 4am and played for about two hours.
However, upon arriving at the venue just after 3am, we were informed by security and other attendees that Sickick had already finished his performance, having played from 2am to 3am. This came as a huge disappointment, especially since Dice advertised Sickick as the main act for the night in Egg Londonâs Main Room. It felt misleading, especially as there was no clear set time communicated beforehand for his performance. I actively looked for any schedule details prior to the event but couldnât find anything.
This lack of transparency led us to miss the artist we specifically came to see. I had even encouraged friends to join me, and we were all excited to experience Sickick live. Instead, we saw him taking a few photos with fans as we arrived, and shortly after, he left the venue. It was extremely frustrating and felt like a waste of time and moneyâespecially given that the 3amâ7am ticket offered no meaningful access to the headliner.
In addition to this, Iâd like to share feedback about the overall venue experience: Upon arrival, the check-in process (ID and security checks) was drawn out, especially for one of my male friends who was held up at security for over 15 minutes, while the rest of us waited. Staff were not particularly helpful or courteous. When I asked for directions to the bathroom, a staff member simply replied, âItâs up there somewhere,â in a dismissive tone. My friend had an unpleasant experience in the men's bathroom when a security guard aggressively banged on his stall door and yelled at him to get out repeatedly, although my friend politely said âgive me a sec, my pants are literally down let me get them back onâ. Navigation within the venue was unclear, and there was little assistance available. On multiple occasions, when we tried to stop and talk to figure out where to go, we were told by security that we couldnât stand in certain areasâeven if we were just trying to orient ourselves for a minute or two.
While I had heard great things about Egg London, my experience unfortunately didnât match those expectations. The combination of unclear communication around performance times, poor customer service, and general lack of organization left us all feeling disappointed.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve future events, particularly around transparency of artist set times and overall...
Read moreThe Best Club in the UK! We have been going to the Egg for last 12 years!
Autumn 2004 - ' Breakfast at Egg' party just about to start- we remember that day very well, it was Sunday early morning, beautiful sunshine, and ⌠more than 100 clubbers were waiting in the queue! âWhy so long queue?â - we asked... âwe are changing our 'night staff ' to the 'day staff', we will be open in a minuteâ - somebody from the staff answered. It was worth to wait! Party was just amazing! House music great! The atmosphere friendly and so cosmopolitan!
It did happen that the next year we settled in the UK â 350 miles away from London, but this distance did not stop us to go to the Egg 2-3 times a year. New Year, Egg Birthday, Promised Land and other events.
Through these years we see how the Club is developing, new rooms are opened, sometimes we are surprised with a new layout what works better then before!. Every time when we are at Egg a few rooms, on different floors, are available to clubbers, with the different kind of music- always underground house or techno, never cheese commercial! The Club management is very creative, consistently they offer the new party-ideas and new rooms' design (Apothecary Room! we love it!). On many occasions, DJ stars, who we know from Ibiza, are invited to play at Egg. On Ibiza parties are great, however the atmosphere is definitely the best at Egg! We would not be frankly, if we say every party in Egg was perfect. Sometimes not. Maybe because of our or other people mood, but what always has been excellent is the quality, sound of music, DJs performance whatever they have big or smaller names.
Oh! I forgot to tell, that in 2004, toilets were for both women and men together (my husband and I miss it! :)). At present, they are separate but, as always, clean and tidy. The same the bars' areas and corridors â clean, even when very busy nights.
The Egg is night club where we feel very well. The staff is, and always been, very professional, kind and discreet. Everything is very well organised. What we really love, is that after party we do not need to bother to get a taxi. We have never waited longer than 5 minutes for a taxi to take us to our hotel. Thank you for this!
This club is definitely for everybody, whatever your age or background is. You just need to 'feel' and love house music, like dancing and be a friendly person!
We'll be back! :)
