My First Visit:

Experience is an under statement.

Heavenly food :

  1. Well Balanced in spices to appeal to most people (the chili lovers and the chili avoiders like me

  2. Well textured so it not boring like mashed potato’s. Sorry no offense intended to my English Brothers

  3. Authentic rich taste like back home in Asia

  4. Presented in authentic Asian style

  5. Juices and the food is a perfect marriage between western taste and Asian authenticity

Amazing People.

  1. They staff talk to each and behave like a family and friends do when are at home.

  2. Their staffs dress like the customers do and wear their own taste of clothes giving you a glimpse into their personal life and taste. Good hippies but on steroids

  3. The staff don’t behave and engage like a machine or a robot but like good people ( Like your friends and siblings).

  4. The staff make you feel At home.

The Place:

  1. Feels like you eating Indian street food by the lake but in Peckham.

  2. Authentic Indian village vibes ( Mud, Clay on the walls, table clothes chairs, plants and other Asian traditional Asian accessories).

  3. I’m not a Vegan but wanted to convert when I was seated at the table waiting for my lunch.

I wanted to work there just on my first not just eat there.

The local people are blessed to have this restaurant in their area.

The owner is truly lucky and blessed to have achieved such position.

I did not know the owner but wanted to meet him and shake his hand.

Truly an inspirational place.

I have not been paid for this Review and I’m not related to the owner. I’m Muslim, non vegan, Asian and I live in croydon. I only went into the shop to charge my phone as it had died out and This was my first visit.

The owner has poured his beliefs, personality and social skills into the restaurant in an unbelievable way.

I will bring my family and friends to this amazing place. It would be...

Firstly I'd like to start out by saying the food was very good and we really enjoyed it.

However, the service was awful. We arrived and waited around 5-10 minutes to be seated (at our reserved table) while the only waitress took orders from the only other table in the restaurant which was a table of around 10 people. Once we were sat we ordered drinks and then waited quite a long time for the waitress to come back and take food orders. At this point she informed us that because of the large table our food was going to take a while and said we should order starters if we wanted to eat any time soon. So we ordered starters we didn't plan on ordering, additionally two of us ordered wraps with the casava fries to go alongside as per the menu. About 10 minutes later the waitress drops off just the casava fries and no starters or mains. After another 10 or so minutes we received our starters. We then began to sporadically receive parts of our mains including the two wraps. The waitress comes back and tells one of our party that they had run out of naan and he needed to reorder, so he said the wraps look good so he'd have one of those if he has to change. Two seconds later the waitress brought out his wrap that had clearly been sat on the side for about 10 minutes as they'd mistakenly made too many for the large table.

Eventually we got all the food and it was very tasty, to her credit the waitress gave us 2 free samosas for our table of 4 to make up for the service. The bill came to about £100 after we were charged a corkage free of £3 each for 1 beer that we had each brought in and obviously a service...

I took my mom here on her birthday. When we told the waitress, about an allergy she advised us on what to eat. So pretty good service. Food and starters were served promptly I’m talking start a game in 10 minutes. Main came 5-6 Minutes afterwards. Starters were really good we got loaded fries and some fried plantain it was really nice Had a dark golden colour nice and ripe pretty much the best plantain I’ve had in a restaurant ever. Fries came with kidney beans Salsa and a homemade vegan cheese on the top Great flavour hit the spot. Main came and we ordered A lunchtime special £7 per plate. Curry lentils, salad, rice red peppers the lentils and veg tasted quite fresh nothing compared to the starter in terms of spice plus curry was a bit watery. the flavours were nice though my mum enjoyed it more than me. Neither of us finished our rice. It tasted like it came straight from a packet of uncle bens hard and chewy. It was… unsatisfying. We would order something else for the main but overall pretty...

What a great little gem this is, a straight forward five-minute walk from Clapham North tube station. The modestly sized cafe evokes bohemian vibes, fusing India and Jamaica, as instrumental jazz provides an audible backdrop to the dining experience. We encountered the owner who additionally played chef and waiter when we visited on a weekday for lunch - very friendly and keen to impress. The dishes ordered arrived in good time and met the standard for good café food of a unique indo-carribbean variety. Every dish seems to be unique and hit the spot in filling a hungry belly. I'll be coming back to taste the para-tacos. This place is absolutely worth a try, especially considering the very few entirely-vegan places that exist south of the river.

Came in for the first and last time as I’ve had really high expectations due to always seeing this place busy from the bus, the hype from social media and other people… Starting from a really small place, everything everywhere, boxes, cables, speakers… The place was empty for lunch time and I didn’t feel welcomed at all… Starters were nice and good portion that’s why got 2 stars. But… 1h 15min for 2 wraps… and a plate with various things… I had to leave to pick up my car from Lidl as I had 90 minutes free parking but as it took longer had to find a street that luckily had 2 park spaces left. I get the hype but… it wasn’t that busy but took too long.

Unbelievable home made Indian and fusion food. Don dada was one of the best Thali’s I’ve ever had, the hot sauce is banging (8% scotch bonnet is perfect for a table sauce) and the pani puri were a revelation and a true joy. The curries were fresh and each one had a unique flavour profile. This place is a real gem, if you’re like me and sick of identikit ‘indian’ restaurants churning out vats of different proteins in beige sauces - COME HERE! Owner is bless, it was my first time but I’ll definitely be coming here more often. Tunes were good too, everything’s on point. What more do you want?
