Enoteca Chiaia — Restaurant in London

Enoteca Chiaia is a magical place in the heart of Earlsfield, Wandsworth. Whenever I get there, it literally feels like being transported back home, in Italy. It has the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Napoli and its people. The wine selection and Vantino's recommendations are top notch. The food served is of a great quality, with authentic genuine products of Italy. The service is excellent, and you just feel "coccolato" (spoiled) and taken care of. The playlist is also spot on! Valentino's attention to details and dedication to his customers is second to none and you can feel the same from his staff. I am encouraging everyone to please never ever book this terrible place.

It's my wife's birthday today and I booked a table for two this evening for drinks.

Earlier today I received a broken call saying our booking was being cancelled - for context its my sons birthday today and I thought it was his party venue canceling- at which point I said absolutely not and of course his party went without a hitch.

On arrival tonight we were told that we weren't welcome and that they'd tried to call several times (they hadn't, they'd called once and on the same day) and I told them it was a disgrace. We'd rushed to be there for our reservation. They had my email address and had never bothered to contact through that method.

The barman then told me to "Get out". My booking that they hadn't properly cancelled and he was rude to me. Avoid...

Un bar maravilloso! I passed by on their opening night and was so happy to see such a lovely, cosy bar in the neighbourhood! I went with a friend last night and it surpassed my expectations. Valentino was charming, very knowledgeable and more importantly passionate about food, wine and his country. The food was exquisite, we had the Porchetta and Aubergine, amazing flavours. Both owners are superb hosts, a really gem of a place, go before word gets out!! I Well, I guess it’s out now!!
