I was in there to order a take out lunch box. It was early and I was the only customs there. I was standing by the door to the kitchen which was open and I could see everything happening in there. While the chef was cooking my lunch. The helping staff was doing some cleaning. He used his bare hands to lift up a very dirty matt from the kitchen floor where some water had leaked to the floor. He then tried to clean the water with a mop. After my lunch box was cooked, the same helping staff went on to handle my food with his bare hands, after he has touched the dirty matt on the floor and mop handle. I pointed it out that that was disgusting and I am not taking that lunch box. They made no attempt to ask the helper to go and wash his hands and put some gloves on before handling food again. By then I asked my money back and walked out. THEY TRULY DON'T CARE ABOUT HYGIENE THERE! It's truly disgusting. Would...
Read moreMaybe I ordered on a bad day. But the ratings on google were not reflective of the meal I received. I had a take away order. It was ready promptly and I walked to collect it. When I got home and unpacked the dishes none of them smelled particularly enticing. They both consisted of over cooked basic vegetables in very runny water, which was lacking any flavour. I had a soupy dish. It my partner ordered a curry and it looked exactly like my soup but tasted different (not great, just different) and had a different colour. Thai dishes are usually full of flavour and colour. But these were grey, sloppy, over cooked and did not taste pleasant. Usually I would keep take away left overs for lunch the following day - it I’ve thrown everything in the bin. I wish I took a photo to upload on here
Service was nice when I collected. And the gentlemen on the phone was friendly when he...
Read moreWe had a delicious lunch at The Green Curry. Extremely polite, attentive and quick service. Food was absolutely DELICIOUS. Authentic, flavoursome and you can really tell the chefs know exactly what they are doing. My friend and I shared veg spring rolls to start (standard and fairly mediocre spring rolls), then we got a lunch special drunken prawn udon noodles, and a laksa curry. The drunken prawn noodles were lovely and spicy, the chefs not afraid to add chilli to the dish. It may be too much for those not good with spice, but it was absolutely delicious for me, and the prawns were big and cooked well, not dry or rubbery but moist and succulent. The laksa was also absolutely delicious, full of flavour, spice and coconut goodness. The portions were normal/good size, and the prices shockingly good value. Thank you Green Curry! I will be back for more to taste the rest...
