I booked this restaurant 3 weeks prior to Mother's Day, spoke about all the requirements, I wanted table 7, because of the comfy seats for my heavily pregnant wife and a high chair for my toddler, space was perfect as the little one won't get in no one's way and if we needed to change him we can do so at the concealed end of the table instead of taking him upstairs where there toilet facilities are.
I went to the restaurant with a friend 1.5 weeks prior, everything was still fine for mother's Day, booking was there no issues at the time.
On the day I called to double confirm timings, all of a sudden, no table booking, when I asked why no explanation, just that today's a very busy day so we're not taking bookings for specific tables and on top of that there's a 2 hour slots which we need to be done by then leave, which I understand but the tone used was so wrong. We booked again as they said they will accommodate. Turned up 10 mins late due to local traffic and car parking issues, wife goes in and the manager says to her, as your late now 20 mins as it took that long to speak to him, they can give us a table but we need to be out by 7pm now, not the original 2 hour time slot. Which due to time delay should have been 1 HR 40 minutes.
We traveled all that way to be turned down by the timings that we felt that we had to leave, horrible customer service and completely inconsiderate.
Never again am I going there again and I don't recommend it, if it's a special occasion, if you do go check your bookings multiple times, because these amateurs can't seem to enter booking details on there system even when they take the spelling of your name and your number.
In the end Everest Spice The Honeypot saved the day, with excellent customer service and fantastic food and guess what, no time restrictions, I ended up being able to give my mum and wife a much deserved break from serving the family as they do all year round with a smile on...
Read moredecor is great, but that's kind of the only positive. Food is mediocre and overpriced, but on par with this chains pricing scheme and local comparatives. The tables are crammed in so to maximise seating/profits at the expense of guests comfort. We sat on a table arrangement where space to slide between tables had gangway of 6 inches. You literally shuffled through to sit and the table clusters were silly. The worst thing however is service, it's beyond poor. You basically have to ask for everything, like you being there is some big inconvenience. The waiters can see the mess as they bring you the next order of drinks, but will not bother clearing it, we must of had a table of 20odd so you can imagine the chaos. The restaurant wasn't even that busy, it's just plain lack of due care. The worst incident of the night however was that one of the kids we had with us (baby under two) had a bit of an accident and vomited on the floor right under the table. We informed the staff and some relaxed time later, they simply left a roll of tissue on the table? They didn't come back and on getting a waiter/hostess back, they advised they are not cleaners and it's not their job to sort??? Baffled really but one of our guests cleaned it up themselves with the tissue, and then the various lengths of tissue with puke on it had to be left on the floor as they didn't/couldn't be bothered to even take it away. This is the mentality of this restaurant. On complaining about it, we were told a manager would come to address this....did he come....nope. Kind of expectant based on the service received really. It's one to...
Read moreI recently had my 50th Birthday Party here, and from the time when I booked it, I was blown away. Back then, I could not picture it, but when all the decorations were done, it was epic.
My first interaction was with Sumi, who showed me the function suite . She introduced me to Vineeth, whom I believe the manager is. He then discussed with me the different types of packages I could have in terms of food and what we did choose in the end was loved by all my friends and family and they still can't stop commenting how good the food was.
On the day of the party Vineeth had put Beni in charge to look after us and he was very attentive whenever I needed him he was right there to help, even when it came down to the smallest request like getting the kids meals like chicken nuggets and chips or noodles and chips and they made it mild to suit that particular child's palette.
Beni, you were amazing. You were truly a gent, and you were a great help on the day whenever I needed you. I also hired a DJ on the day of the party.
Vineeth had recommended me the decorators which they use normally and I called her up and she did an amazing job but just don't take my word for it have a look for yourself with the pictures and videos I have posted on this review it totally blew me away.
I just want to say a big thank you to Vineeth and Beni and the rest of the staff who had made my party flow seamless and they made my 50th birthday a truly...
