Yoko Sizzlers — Restaurant in London

Finally a review from someone from Delhi whose not has these sizzlers in Mumbai.

Decor: I believe that they have continued with the decor from the previous Turkish place which is not a bad thing. Though some music would have been nice. Eating in silence is no fun.

Food: It was the food that we went for and it was disappointing. The portions look massive but the plate was full of vegetables, chips, rice and just six pieces of undercooked chicken. The meat is overdone on the outside but on the raw side inside. It was pinkish. Shows that it was cooked on very high heat. Vegetables were flavourful though.

Service: Not disappointing but could be better. We wanted tap water, and how was that served? Lukewarm tap water served in simple plain glasses with no ice leave aside lemon. We had to persuade the servers to get two plates for us as they wanted both of us to directly eat from the sizzler. So the service was just about ok.

Pricing; Their pricing is just exorbitant, they charge £21 for six pieces of undercooked chicken and then add 7% service charge. Hitting a total of nearly £23. For this money one can get a buffet just 25 minutes drive away serving around 90-100 dishes. Whoever their consultant is, has obviously wrongly advised them that they can get away with such pricing in Stanmore. Not for very long, as this is the third restaurant in two years on the same site. I hope that they can continue.

Overall not a very satisfactory visit.

Finally the young man sitting on the computer should that is it really bad, very bad manners to blow bubble gums bubbles in a restaurant. Bad manners mate very bad manners.

I recently visited Yoko Sizzlers and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the receptionist who seated us promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable seating arrangements.

Now, let's talk about the food! As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find a great selection of veg sizzlers on the menu. I decided to try the paneer sizzler and it was absolutely delicious. The paneer was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The sizzler was served piping hot, with a sizzle that made the whole dining experience even more exciting.

What really made the experience special, however, was the amazing staff. Our server was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He/She made some great recommendations and ensured that our every need was taken care of. The service was quick and efficient, but never rushed, and we were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace.

Overall, I would highly recommend Yoko Sizzlers to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great service. My daughter booked Yoko sizzlers for my 50th birthday dinner. We drove 1.5 hours to get there but the food was well worth the effort. Extremely generous portions, piping hot, perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients…amazing food. Both the pepper sauce and garlic sauce were very flavourful. The quality of food was in fact better than Mumbai according to my husband. We had soft drinks followed by cheesy garlic bread, Paneer shashlik sizzler, veg satellite sizzler and the exotic sizzler. We shared the sizzling brownie as we were too stuffed by then! My son thought it was one of the best brownies he has ever had. We will definitely return and would recommend to all our friends here.

The only negative we felt, especially for my kids was that in spite of mentioning the booking was for their mum’s 50th birthday dinner there was no effort from the restaurant to make it extra special. A small complimentary dessert or someone wishing mum happy birthday would have been a nice touch and made the kids really happy. This is a small suggestion for the restaurant to consider for the future. It would have been the cherry on the cake to wind up an otherwise wonderful evening.
