The chicken they sell is tasty and is breaded perfectly, not soggy or drenched in oil. My only disappointment is the selection of wings, which is in a 2:1 proportion favouring the end bit of the wing, that is not the part I prefer. I realise this is not the end of the world, scrap my complaint, the chicken is nice, hopefully I'll have better luck next time. Price is at the higher end of your usual 'fried chicken in a cardboard box' type of outlet, but then again the quality is solid. If ever I fancy chicken, favourites is my go to, staff are always friendly and the food fresh, would have been a 5 star review until tonight. After my husband and I both worked late he went out in the rain to grab us some food, he arrived at 9.45 and they were busy, by the time it was his turn to be served it was 10pm, only to be told they had run out of chicken, he was prepared to wait but was told by the staff that it takes an hour to clean up so there not cooking anymore, how can you be open till 11pm but refuse to cook at 10pm? Bought a ringer burger meal from here a few months back n it was gross. Thought I’d give them a second chance as the food here used to be banging, I’m not sure what happened but it’s gone downhill and now, is rank. The chips are so oily and so that’s all they taste of, the chicken is hard and has a weird smell/taste.
