Greggs — Restaurant in London

Firstly the food is left out extremely cold, and not just a 1 off, every time i’ve had it is not warm at all. Secondly, I asked for a cheese and onion bake, I was given a sausage and bean bake… which I had only found out after I bit into it? I don’t eat meat as it is, but secondly it is also haram, no consideration taken in at all… I was told “you asked for the last one”. How is this possible if the bottom row contains 4 different items so how are you going to distinguish which item the last one is. When given the correct item, the worker didn’t even bother to put it in a new bag, but rather tries to give it to me in my bare hands, how did he expect me to hold it?

Customer Service? Terrible Food Quality? Atrocious

Service has improved since it opened. I used to wait up to 10 mins for a staff member to appear behind the counter and they used to have terrible manners. But much friendlier now and no long waits.

The food is a bit hit and miss with the pastries sometimes freezing cold regardless of the time.

What annoys me most is that I went back in the other day as I felt I’d been overcharged. The server ran it all through her machine again and said it was correct and when I pulled up the app I said it couldn’t be right. She told me that as it is a franchise they charge more (and not even a little - 30% more) than regular Greggs.

I really wish I knew this a year ago as I wouldn’t have stepped foot in there again. And won’t going...

Its very expensive compared to the other Greggs shops and the food is always cold the staff aren't very welcoming they just look miserable like they dont want to serve you its not like the other Greggs shops where you feel welcome and every time I've been there the staff are never at the counter I have to call out for someone to come and serve I only go there because there's no other Greggs shops in leyton I'm always disappointed...
