Greggs Dagenham - A Spot of Sunshine on a Rainy Day My recent visit to Greggs in Dagenham was made significantly better thanks to the fantastic staff, particularly Juanelle. While Greggs is generally known for its reliably good food and coffee, it's the customer service that can really elevate the experience, and that's exactly what happened here.

Juanelle greeted me with a genuine smile, which is always a welcome start. We all make mistakes sometimes, and I definitely made one when placing my drink order. Instead of making me feel awkward, Juanelle was incredibly understanding and quickly replaced my drink with exactly what I wanted. No fuss, no bother, just efficient and friendly service.

That kind of quick and cheerful resolution is what really makes a difference. It turned a potentially frustrating moment into a positive one, and left me feeling valued as a customer. It's clear that Juanelle takes pride in her work and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

Beyond the excellent service from Juanelle, the Greggs itself was clean and well-stocked, as you'd expect. But it's that personal touch that will make me choose this Greggs in Dagenham again.

Lady in the shop don't want to speak with us nor let us know that she is not!

Had to bang on the shutters and still no response, then she opened and has nothing out and say machine's not working, why on earth would you not let us know rather than wasting another 15 minutes of my day which has now made me run late for work without any breakfast all cos the staff decided to have a late start which is clearly what's happened here.

Both male and female very ride and dismissive.

New refurbished version of the shop is extremely clean, standard service, only problem is if you order coffee most staff forget to ask what size so if it’s not regular try to remember and let them know. A few times they will make me a cup, and forget to ask so I forget to tell them that I would have liked them to make me a large so when you change their mind they don’t see if as they’re mistake for refusing to ask which you prefer instead they will give you a dirty look for not telling them as I request they make me a cup again but large instead.
