Gunays Cafe — Restaurant in London

Who has liver and bacon with ROAST potatoes... apparently whoever goes in Gunays Cafe on Rainham Road. Because I asked for liver, bacon, onions, peas, mushrooms and potatoes, that meant ROAST potoatoes. And to then be told its my fault because I didnt specify what potatoes. And then when I query why roast potatoes, they said they will change it, the cook using his hands to start removing items from the plate, not even washing them after handling raw food stuffs.... that alone is basic hygene 101. Well I used to like eating in Gunays, but the way you get spoken to, which includes being shouted across a crowded cafe on a previous occasion leaves a lot to be desired. Dinner in the bin... I refuse to eat what I have not ordered and forced to eat by others, especially in a cafe.

*addendum... this is how the liver and bacon meal is advertised on their menu, "Liver Bacon, Mashed Potatoes, 3 Veg". If I never specified what potatoes I wanted surely it should have been served as described...

Recently, there have been a few people who have made bad comments about my business, service and food. These comments are utterly false and do not reflect the truth, as many of our repeat customer would know. These people are ordering lots of food with many extras over the phone then failing to even collect the food, let alone pay, resulting in waste of food and a major loss for my business. Eventually I, myself have been notified through customers that these people are also leaving false comments about bad service and the food not being up to standard due to our staff not serving them.

The account carrying out this is controlled by the customer and has nothing to do with my business, therefore this is not an accurate representation of my business. The person behind the false reviews username is Bobby Johnson and a few others included. Many...

Not quite sure if I visited on a bad day or of this is just the general behaviour of the staff at this cafe. Didn't feel very welcome when I entered, not sure what the issue was. I ordered my food at the till and then went to be seated. My order came and it was wrong, it was changed with no complaints. Quality of the food was ok. Could be better. Seems like they get steady business from the local council refuse workers. Care attention seems to be given to them and everyone else is just whoever. Staff lack any kind of customer service.
