We have been comming to h's cafe for about 8 months now pretty much daily my wife loves the place and the people we meet (other regulars) Outdoor section is great in the summer food us always great all my family and some friends have been there with us their curry is lovely and the roasts are really nice jacket spuds are just WOW as is the pankcakes I love the bangers n mash in fact i dont think there is anything not to recomend h's seems to cater for most if not all tastes .... Mediocre cafe. Nothing special about the food. Food was overcooked - bacon was crispy and edges powdery from being so dry, sausage was too dry, chips had no flavour and barely crispy. First cafe I have been to that doesn't provide table service and you pay before getting your food. Servers don't seem to be told who ordered what so they go table to table asking if they ordered the dish. I wouldn't recommend this place, instead, head to Tudor cafe on the other side of the Shell...
