Haute Dolci, located in Ilford, London, offers a delightful dining experience with a menu full of tantalizing desserts and savory dishes. On our recent visit, we ordered the Dynamite Chicken and loaded fries as starters, followed by the French toast and Cheese-Licious burger as our main courses. Our server, Virender, was incredibly accommodating and provided excellent service throughout our meal. To kick off our culinary adventure, we opted for the Dynamite Chicken and loaded fries as our starters. The Dynamite Chicken was a true explosion of flavors, with tender chicken pieces coated in a spicy and tangy sauce. The dish had just the right amount of heat to tantalize our taste buds without overwhelming them. The loaded fries were a heavenly combination of crispy fries topped with melted cheese, crispy bacon bits, and a tangy sauce. It was a fantastic start to our meal, leaving us eager for more. Moving on to the main courses, the French toast and Cheese-Licious burger did not disappoint. The French toast was a delicious twist on a classic breakfast favorite. The thick slices of bread were perfectly golden and soaked in a rich egg batter, resulting in a fluffy and satisfying dish. Topped with a generous drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkling of powdered sugar, it was a decadent treat. The Cheese-Licious burger was a carnivore's dream come true. The patty was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection. It was accompanied by a generous amount of gooey melted cheese, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and tangy pickles, all sandwiched between a soft and lightly toasted bun. Each bite was a delightful blend of textures and flavors, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Throughout our dining experience at Haute Dolci, Virender provided exceptional service. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. His accommodating nature and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience at the restaurant. One aspect worth noting is that there is paid parking available nearby, which is convenient for customers who are driving to the restaurant. This eliminates the hassle of finding parking in the busy streets of London and allows for a stress-free dining experience. While Haute Dolci offered a memorable dining experience overall, there were a few minor areas for improvement. The menu could benefit from a wider variety of main course options, providing even more choices for diners with varying preferences. Additionally, the pricing of some dishes leaned towards the higher end, which might be a consideration for budget-conscious individuals. In conclusion, Haute Dolci in Ilford, London, offers a delightful culinary experience with its delectable desserts and savory dishes. The Dynamite Chicken and loaded fries were bursting with flavor, while the French toast and Cheese-Licious burger provided a satisfying and indulgent main course. The exceptional service provided by Virender added to the overall positive experience. With paid parking available nearby, it is a convenient choice for diners seeking a stress-free dining experience. Although there is room for slight improvement in terms of menu variety and pricing, Haute Dolci is definitely worth a visit for those looking for a memorable dining experience.

I had the pleasure of visiting Haute Dolce on a bustling Wednesday evening with some friends, as a group of 4 and and despite the crowd, I was eager to indulge in their renowned desserts. To my disappointment, many items were unavailable due to a private event upstairs, including the much-coveted pistachio milk cake that had caught my eye. Undeterred, we opted for the San Sebastián cheesecake, accompanied by a decadent chocolate sauce. The flavors were exquisite, and it certainly lived up to the dessert haven's reputation. However, our excitement was slightly dampened when we found the cookie dough a bit too raw for our liking. Taking the matter up with the management, we were met with a highly professional and courteous response. They expressed sincere apologies, assuring us that the issue was not the norm, and offered to remake the dessert. Despite their generous offer, we chose not to have it again, and to our appreciation, they promptly removed it from the bill. The standout aspect of the evening was the impeccable service. Both the staff and management personally apologized multiple times, demonstrating a commitment to high standards and genuine care for customer satisfaction. This level of integrity left a positive impression on me. The interior and layout of Haute Dolce contributed to a delightful ambiance, enhancing the overall experience. Despite the initial hiccup, the exceptional service, attentiveness, and the lovely experience with the San Sebastián cheesecake have convinced me to revisit Haute Dolce. I look forward to another visit, hopeful to finally indulge in the pistachio milk cake and explore more of their menu.

Went to eat in this brand new dessert shop in ilford. We didn’t make a reservation online as I didn’t want to pay a £40 deposit (which is more than our desserts and drinks cost us) so we decided to walk-in. We had to queue outside, in the heat, for half an hour. Then we were selected from the queue to go in, we asked for a table for 2, only for desserts. We were seated on a table that had seating for at least 8 people, so I was a little confused on why we were able to jump ahead of the group of 4 who were in front of us. Whilst waiting outside, we could see empty tables inside, so that was also confusing on what the wait was, maybe there were reserved… Before seated we were taken to the counter, where the cashier asked if we were related to the owner, which I thought was a strange/random question but maybe a lot of his relatives were visiting at the time. Once seated a waiter introduced himself and said he could talk us through the menu. Raj was very helpful, he even helped us save money by choosing one of the deals instead of ordering our drinks and desserts separately. We ordered the apple spritz and strawberry mojito. The apple tasted better than the strawberry, although it was the cheaper option. I would recommend the apple if you like a slight apple flavour. For desserts we ordered a waffle with milk chocolate and strawberries (forgot the actual name) and we also ordered a chocolate sponge pudding with ice cream (also forgot the name of this dessert). Both were very nice, I especially liked the chocolate sponge, it had a crunchy, nutty middle at the top of the sponge, would definitely recommend trying. We also were able to choose a teaser as part of one of the deals, we chose dipped strawberries, it wasn’t plural, it was ONE strawberry dipped in chocolate. The service was quite slow, the drinks took at least 20 minutes to come out and then the desserts took another 15 minutes after that. Not sure why it was so slow, they didn’t acknowledge that so I’m guessing it’s their regular pace. Whilst seated, tables around us were empty yet there was still a very long queue outside. I began to think they wanted there to be a long queue outside so it looked super busy, which would be very disappointing especially in this heatwave to make your customers wait unnecessarily. Overall, the decor was very nice, seating was interesting, desserts were very nice, price was decent - for 2 drinks and 2 desserts plus service charge the total was £31.90. It is pricier than other dessert places but it definitely looks like a shop that would be on the more expensive side. I would revisit to try other desserts as I have a sweet tooth, but I would have liked if they told us what the golden keys were about. Raj was our waiter, very helpful and aniqa and Faizan also helped.

It was my first time eating at Haute Dolci in Ilford yesterday - Honestly, I never ever write reviews but I feel like I really had to write one here. I was so disappointed and I’ve never felt like that when dining at at a restaurant before. At first, when we arrived (2 people) we were asked to wait at the reception for no reason as there were loads of seats empty. There were 3 people that came after us and they were seated straight away. Then, after 10 minutes the same manager came and asked us why we were waiting here. I said he told us to wait and then he seated us straight away? Really strange. We got seated on a dirty table which also had dirty cutlery - we had to ask for it to be cleaned and new cutlery. After this, I went to wash my hands in the toilet and the toilet was also really filthy. After that, we came back and tried to order some food but the things we wanted (chicken tenders and firecracker chicken) they said were not available which was really annoying. We just ended up ordering the chicken burger and fries instead. The food took absolutely forever to come out - it must of been a good 45minutes waiting time. I was also really not impressed by the hygiene levels that I saw at the restaurant/kitchen… the chefs were putting plates on a really dirty worktop (pictures attached) and when plating the food, they were not wearing gloves. The lady who was making the waffles was wearing gloves so atleast that made me feel some what at ease for the dessert. The food was actually decent but once again service appalling. We asked for sauces from one of the managers and he said ok, 10 minutes later still nothing. I could see him walking around and not doing anything during that time - then I had to ask again. He then really abruptly brought it to us and it was the wrong chilli sauce we wanted. He also wasent professional as was being quite direct with one of the waitresses that was there and ordering her to do things. I felt sorry for her as they are obviously short staffed and she didn’t seem like she really wanted to be there. We ordered a waffle after this too and I would rate the food a 8/10. Overall, the food was decent but service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I wasn't smiled at or greeted properly once by any of the workers there. When asked for something, you get an eye roll or abruptly stared at or given things that you want. Once again, I have to mentioned the dirty hygiene levels that I saw at the restaurant too. At the end, one of the managers did ask for feedback or any constructive criticism but to be honest it’s too much to say in one conversation. Would I come back? Probably not - the service and hygiene levels has put me off. Worst service I’ve experienced. 3/5 stars is for the food only.

It was an awful experience. We were initially sat in a booth with a massive table that squeezes you, we are petite size 8/10 women LOL. The restaurant was practically empty on a Friday night. (Very telling). If you book online, then it has a £10 deposit with a limited menu. The table is only available for an hour and half. The order was taken after 45 minute of being seated. A waitress approached to ask if we enjoyed our food and realised that our food had not even arrived! The waiters and waitresses just stand around, we arrived at 5pm, the kitchen was in full view with nothing being cooked! We ordered misely burgers for £9.80 or something each which were very disappointing. There was literally two strings of caramelised onion. When asked for more it was taken away and came back with 4 strings. My friends burger was highlighted to have scotch bonnet garnish, it didn't. The burgers itself were dry and tasteless. I didn't finish mine. Dessert was OK, I had pancake which better than the main, however, it was not that great, didn't finish that either. My friend had sticky pudding, which was stodgy. We had vanilla and spiced chai, they were awful!! So white and milky. In the end, they took off the service charge, after deducting the £10 deposit. I won't recommend unless you go and try other desserts. To be honest, I shouldn't have paid for my half eaten burger! The restaurant is great to look at, thats it. The service was VERY slow considering how empty it was. Other people that were seated before us waited longer. Some people that arrived after us were served first! Very disorganised indeed! Oh, parking is non existent unless you want walk 10 minutes from the exchange which closes at 7pm! The other parking lot, Citipark, is very scary at night, not recommended in the evening unless travelling in a large group. We came individually and did not feel safe. Good luck to anyone wanting to go. It's great for Instagram but not if you want quality food. For some reason, there is no option to upload photos. Will do when I work out how!

As we entered it looked lovely and was very classy, the desserts on display looked stale. We got told to wait and said that he would call the supervisor, it went downhill from there. If you cant even serve the customer from the get go professionally stay away from the entrance. There was another group of women and children that was waiting before us, but were taking photos. The waitress came over to them and assisted them whilst we continued to wait. I looked inside the restaurant to see how busy it was and there was only 3 tables with people. The restaurant was empty. Upstairs had 2 events going on but no more than 15 people so they had there own waiter. Someone eventually came to us, to then check online if there was availability.....'deeeer' the restaurant was empty !!!!! After being seated we waited about 15 minutes for them to come back to take our order, using an Ipad. The group of women that was there before us had then walked out because of the service. The waitress was walking around straightening the napkins instead of serving. If she was new, there should of been another waitress at least to back her up. We nearly walked out too. When the food finally arrived my order was wrong, so what was the point of the Ipad. The dessert 🍨 took forever to arrive and that didn't have what we asked for on it either. The service was horrendously slow. Get more experienced staff that actually know what there doing. The staff looked unenthusiastic. The only person that looked like they cared was the chef, as he kept on popping his head out from the kitchen. The food was good, the place looked great but you need good service before you get to the food or your business will get bad reviews or loss of profits. Forget all the app nonsense and use common sense and general communication.
