I recently visited The Exchange Ilford for the first time in a long while, and I was genuinely impressed. I'd been told it was a great place to shop, but I didn't expect to find it so similar to Stratford's shopping center—but with a key difference: it felt much cleaner and more hygienic. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how well-maintained the entire place was. The floors were spotless, the air was fresh, and there were no overflowing bins or general clutter, which can sometimes be an issue in busy shopping centers. It felt welcoming and safe, which made the whole shopping experience much more pleasant. The variety of stores on offer was fantastic. You have all the big high-street names you would expect, like H&M, River Island, and Next, but there are also plenty of smaller, independent shops and kiosks scattered throughout. This meant I could find everything I needed, from a new pair of shoes to a quick coffee break snack. The food court was also very clean and had a great selection of different cuisines, so there was something for everyone. Another thing that stood out was the well-organized layout. Navigating the center was easy, and the signs were clear, which made finding specific stores a breeze. This is a huge plus when you're in a hurry or don't know the place well. It's clear that the management takes pride in maintaining a high standard, not just in terms of cleanliness but also in overall customer experience. If you're looking for a one-stop-shop that's clean, well-stocked, and has a comfortable atmosphere, The Exchange Ilford is definitely worth a visit. It has all the variety of a major shopping hub like Stratford but with a much more polished and hygienic feel. I'll certainly...

First time in Ilford's exchange. I live in WG, from where 123 departs and Ilford is the final destination. It takes nearly 2hrs when there's traffic. It took me 1 and half hrs to get there.

By the time I arrived it started to drizzle. I mainly went there to buy an open Abaya from Matin's Market Place. It was only yesterday they'd have the type of Abaya I was planning to buy in ages.

It was priced £27 + £4.50 P&P on their facebook page. To save few quids I went all the way there with a 17months old baby. I was expecting to buy it for £27 but was let down by the salesman. Extremely disappointed with the price that has been put up (£30). When I pointed out the FB page's price he was going on about how much it costs them and other things. Ain't nobody got time for all this. Problem with Asian people they lack honesty. Promise you one thing, end up doing the opposite. He agreed to give me for £28 just because I'm aware of the price. TBH, I now regret buying it. First of all the size is wrong. I bought M which is normally 54". Medium in 54" fits me in length and width. With this one length seems like it's 56" and width seems like it's Small. Compared to my Golden one I bought seven months ago from a different seller and different shop, this one doesn't come close in design and quality.

Apart from all this disappointment, the shopping mall looks so beautiful. It has so many stores. Didn't have enought time to tour the mall....

My recent visit to Exchange Ilford was a pleasant one. The hygiene throughout the centre was okay, with most areas appearing reasonably tidy. The floors were generally clean, and the public spaces were maintained to a standard that allowed for a comfortable shopping experience. While not spotless, the overall cleanliness was acceptable, and it didn't detract from my visit. It's a busy centre, and for the most part, they do a decent job of keeping up with the foot traffic. What truly impressed me, however, was how Exchange Ilford had everything I needed. The range of shops and services is incredibly comprehensive. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the sheer variety of retailers on offer. I was able to find everything on my shopping list in one go, which made the trip incredibly efficient. Whether it was for clothes, electronics, or just grabbing a quick coffee, the centre had it all. The layout is also very logical and easy to navigate, so I didn't waste any time getting from one shop to the next. This efficiency, combined with the wide selection of stores, makes Exchange Ilford an excellent and highly convenient shopping destination. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get all their shopping done...

Great baby and toddler facilities. They are on ground floor mext to the car park. As a first time mum I cannot praise the management enough. Most big shopping centres lack proper facilities to spend a day out with a baby. This is one of the best I've seen. Better than bluewater and lakeside. 3 feeding rooms, 1 with a highchair. All have a rocking chair, side table and sockets to charge phones. Its quiet, no speakers playing music so no distractions for little one when feeding. Plenty of baby changing stations, each with its own hand wash basin. Small baby play area and larger toddler one. Only downside is no phone signal or internet. So cant entertain myself while baby sleeps (mine only sleeps in quiet spaces). Shop variety is decent with the high road and exchange combined. Parking is cheap, around 50p per hour. 30 or so parent parking spaces well sign posted on the ground floor.
