HR's Café House — Restaurant in London

Rude staff wont let you use the card machine. Wont be going back and have used this cafe for years I used to really like it but today was the end of the line after various ridiculous price increases and rude staff. Went earlier in the week and they have a sign that says cash only card machine not working. The signs been there a while now and its simply not true their card machine works just fine. My mate went to pay and only had card they accepted it no problem Wednesday. I went to pay 2 days later and they told me the cash machine wasnt working. I questioned this and the guy behind the till became rude and dismissive. The woman outside told me the machine wasn't working when I pointed out this always happens and my friend payed on card 2 days ago even though they had the sign up she smiled and resorted to calling me her friend and telling me it doesnt work. I had to walk down to the nearest cash point and get cash. I asked to see the card reader and they wouldnt show it to me for no reason other than if they did it would have been working. I dont like being lied to and I dont appreciate being made to pay cash. I cant help but think that this is some form of tax dodge than an actual issue with the card reader. I really loved some of the bits, and it stands out above most of the other cafes in the town, I really loved the beans (very rare decision, I like them well cooked) I really liked the Sausages but they were too small, I really liked the hash browns. I really didn't like the mushrooms and I have no idea why smoked bacon is as standard as 50% of your customers are gonna hate it straight away. The bread and butter was thankfully ordinary but I have no idea why its served in triangles I'm 50 not 5 The eggs were nice but over done and if I ask for a coffee as ordinary as possible (actually I asked for an Americano, with milk) which 'pparently means the same) they came back 15mins later to ask what coffee I wanted as they did not understand. The service was poor but it was laden with hope. It's an odd feeling to have a poor breakfast that fills you with nothing more than hope. I'll go back and try somit else, and see. But a really important point, it's the first breakfast weekend that has bust...

Won't ever go there again,used to go quite regularly,was waiting for my mate to turn up and decided to have a coffee,read the paper,chill,and then order breakfast when my mate turned up..manager came over,asked if I was ok..I said yes..then about 10 minutes later,I'm still waiting for my mate who unbeknown to me had gone back to sleep,a waitress came over and asked me what I was doing,even tho I was still drinking my coffee and she apologized and said her manager sent her over and I told her I was still waiting for my mate,so she shouted over to the manager that I was waiting for someone..I was so shocked,cafe was empty so I got up,paid for my coffee and left with total shock not believing what just happened,well...cafe 122...you are now...
