I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hungry Head by Poussin Plaice during my lunch break on Thursday. Having not been to this place since its rebranding, I was intrigued to see what it had to offer. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful culinary experience that awaited me.
As I entered the restaurant, the first thing that caught my attention was the extensive and enticing menu. Hungry Head offers a fusion of Indo-Kenyan flavors, which immediately intrigued me. With so many delectable options to choose from, I decided to go for the Paneer Tikka Pizza and the Garlic Bread.
The Paneer Tikka Pizza was a revelation. Unlike the usual pizzas you find at most places, this one stood out with its unique combination of paneer and coriander. The flavors were simply amazing, delivering a delightful blend of spices that made my taste buds dance with joy. The chef behind this dish clearly put a lot of thought into creating something extraordinary. I wholeheartedly recommend trying this pizza—it's a true culinary gem.
Next up was the Garlic Bread, and it was a fantastic accompaniment to the pizza. The bread was perfectly baked, with just the right amount of crispiness. The generous amount of cheese and garlic topping added an irresistible richness to each bite. It was an absolute delight, and I highly recommend indulging in this savory treat.
After my incredible experience at Hungry Head, I am already planning to return with my family. It has been a while since I've come across a restaurant that offers such amazing food. The diverse range of dishes on their menu ensures that everyone will find something to satisfy their taste buds. I can't wait to share this hidden gem with my loved ones and explore more of the wonderful flavors that Hungry Head has to offer.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a unique and flavorsome dining experience in Queensbury, look no further than Hungry Head by Poussin Plaice. From the extraordinary Paneer Tikka Pizza to the mouth watering Garlic Bread, this restaurant has truly impressed me. Don't miss the opportunity to treat yourself to their remarkable culinary creations—you won't be...
Read moreFood was cold by the time it was cooked, not really authentic Kenyan food either. The poussin chips were cold and soggy, the mandazi cannot even compare to what mandazi actually tastes like! Portions were also quite small. Found the guy (most likely owner) was lacking customer service and actually slightly rude. We were complaining amongst ourselves on our table and he then provided free desserts to the table next to us, when they asked why- he responded with "because you appreciate the food" - sounds like a bit of a slap in the face because we were talking amongst our group that we didn't like the food. On leaving we were shocked to see they have the utter cheek to charge 10% service charge- for WHAT? You have to go to the counter to order and also pick up your own food from the counter....so what service exactly are we paying for? Would not...
