I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hungry Head by Poussin Plaice during my lunch break on Thursday. Having not been to this place since its rebranding, I was intrigued to see what it had to offer. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful culinary experience that awaited me.

Food was cold by the time it was cooked, not really authentic Kenyan food either. The poussin chips were cold and soggy, the mandazi cannot even compare to what mandazi actually tastes like! Portions were also quite small. Found the guy (most likely owner) was lacking customer service and actually slightly rude. We were complaining amongst ourselves on our table and he then provided free desserts to the table next to us, when they asked why- he responded with "because you appreciate the food" - sounds like a bit of a slap in the face because we were talking amongst our group that we didn't like the food. On leaving we were shocked to see they have the utter cheek to charge 10% service charge- for WHAT? You have to go to the counter to order and also pick up your own food from the counter....so what service exactly are we paying for? Would not...

The food here was terrible 5 out 6 dishes where just bad!

The chips in the place is terrible there no fluffyness to the chips it tastes like some cheap potatoes.

Order a large exotica chips which sounded great when we where explained about them but after having a bite of it that was far from what we where explainined this whole portion went straight in the bin and there where 4 of us disliked it!

Garlic chilli chips rather plain and tasteless just a bit of chopped garlic maybe some.sauce tossed in to terrible chips!

Had a mixed veg cheese chapati which had a dry tasting filling

But only reason it got 2 stars where the poussin wings where amazing i would go here just for that and get chips from...
