We recently celebrated my dad’s 50th birthday at this restaurant and we had such a wonderful experience. I planned it very last minute (calling just the night before to ask if they could accommodate around 30 guests). To our surprise, they agreed without hesitation and helped us quickly organize a menu with unlimited food. On the day, we ended up with 39 people, and again, the staff welcomed us with incredible flexibility and warmth. The service was outstanding as the staff were attentive, friendly, and constantly on the move to make sure everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious and had so much flavour. They also catered to some of our requests, for instance, having the food be medium spice which they absolutely hit the spot (unfortunately I forgot to take some photos of the food😅 too busy eating). The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration. Thank you to Varun, who I spoke to on the phone and had everything wonderfully set up and ready for the day, as well as Anjan who made sure that the service was running smoothly on the day, handing out dishes and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Also for all the chefs involved in making the food! That being said, I wouldn’t recommend booking such a large group so last minute, it could understandably put pressure on the staff. Due to our situation it was our only option and so we were really lucky that they handled it so graciously, but I’d suggest giving them more notice if you can. Overall, we felt truly looked after and are so thankful for the service provided. If you’re looking for a place that combines delicious food, excellent service, and genuine hospitality then I 100% recommend this place without a doubt!

I went blue ginger on 18 July 6.30pm and had the worst experience of health and safety and no customer service. First of all, who puts a chair, few inches from the step ? I will cut the story short. I got up from my chair and turned around and fell on the floor. Nearly hit another table and glass went flying from that table. The customers were shocked and gave me better service then staff. One customer worked it out straight away issue even before I did. The chair is right next to step therefor no chance to see it. You can see from the picture how close it was while sitting down. I still have a bruise on my leg. All the staff said are you hurt nothing else. No sorry no compensation for putting table and chair in unsafe position. It is like staff did not care. Lets see how much they care if I take legal action and report to council. I already have few contacts for the witnesses who saw it happen. It such a shame that the Staff and safety ruin this place I been going to for years. I will not be going to the restaurant again after this incident. I was so lucky not to hit the other table and just landed on the floor with bruises. Not even discounting on my bill. I never seen this sort of service when they knew there where at fault. I hope you find this review useful for anyone thinking of going there for food. Still shocked someone would put chair behind a step. I hope they have the CCTV so the manager can see the incident. Really ruined my meal and my experience of this place. If that table was not put in such a unsafe place and manner I would not have been hurt. I fell straight on the floor hand and leg hurt.

Free parking available on site which is great. Remember to log your card details on the portal. The staff also ensured we did this which is good. Food wise, the naan was very good in terms of taste and thickness. Masala chips were amazing one of the best i have had. Mains were okay. Ordered Paneer curry and manchurian. Edible in general but was not overly impressed when compared to other places. 2 sauces provided to supplement your order which is standard. Prices are competitive compared to other indian resturants in the area. Most dishes were about 15-20% cheaper so good value overall. Menu is not very extensive. Things like chaat were not available which was abit surprising. Interms of ambience, setting and layout was alright although it felt the toilets were quite close to some of the seating area. Sofa could do with some deep cleaning. Otherwise a good experience overall. Will be back some time in the future.

Security on the door was absolutely terrible, sitting down on a bench outside the venue whist intoxicated people were just walking past him inside the venue, then he came inside and started watching television with a few of the staff members, I politely asked him if he is able to asked him to organise for a female staff member to check the female toilets as one of our friends was in there for some time, he nodded and acknowledged me I waited for him to assist, he totally disregarded it and continued watching television with the rest of the staff members talking and laughing which I was extremely horrified to see, and deemed disgraceful, as I have been in the security industry myself for over 20 years to see this behaviour from a fellow security officer that is meant to be roaming the venue, checking ID’s at the main entry point, looking out for intox and mainly the for the safety of other patrons inside the venue this was not the case. He was lazy and was also spotted sitting down whilst working in Security uniform, I went over to him and said to him that did you not listen to what I just asked you? He said oh sorry I will check now for you! The manager came over and apologised that the security officer didn’t understand what I had requested which was a blatant lie, I told the manager that if that was the case then why was his English and communication was clear to me when I had requested this to him previously as it is his job clearly to maintain the well being of a patron that may require assistance. He should definitely not be in the security industry and if he ever came to my company looking for security work then I can confidently say that I would never ever hire him and it’s people like him that gives security officers and the industry a bad name, he should definitely be watched by his company management closely, absolutely...
