Absolutely incredible! Likely to be my "go to" spot in South London for Caribbean food. Can eat-in or takeaway. As other commenters noted, the portions are large and the menu prices are small. Please note that the menu prices in the photos shown are not up-to-date but it's just a 50p price difference. We had the goat curry with rice and peas, stew chicken with hard food, and then lamb and chicken patties. Curry and stew had tons of meat, patties did as well. Perhaps the best part of visiting this place was the proprietor. We forgot to get his name but he's the kindest guy ever and today service-oriented. He cooks himself and the restaurant and kitchen area are clean. It was comfortable to eat in here and it definitely had a positive neighborhood vibe. We will definitely be back!!! I've passed this place a number of times but never stopped. I decided to get some food here as it's the only West Indian takeaway on the strip. This place is a throwback to an original street food place you would find anywhere in the Caribbean. It's a bit awkward as there's a big table in the front and you can feel that you might be disturbing the guys when you walk in. However, this is not the case. service is excellent, and there is a wide display of food and sides. I got goat curry and rice and peas, and it was perfect. Well spiced and the flavours were all coming through. Portion size was good and not stuffed full of rice with a little bit of meat on the side.
