Terrible experience!!! One of the staff in particular ( forgot to take his name) i would say of an eastern european descent ( polish i would guess i could well be wrong) made it a very unpleasant experience for myself and my spouse on two occasions visiting with our new born son. It wasnt the first time we encountered a problem with our order and it was the same member of staff once again messing up the order and again displaying a disrespectful and rude demeanour towards me and my spouse. I gave him the benefit of the doubt on the first occasion but the second occasion was by large unacceptable and couldnt be overlooked so i felt i was left with no choice but to leave a review to raise awareness of this particular individual and to warn other visitors of this collegues rudeness who albeit we didnt get his name but i know fellow collegues, manager/ previous visitors will know the person in question.
On our last visit a mis-understanding took place by both myself and him regarding the order and he displayed an awful, dismissive, rude and patronising attitude and refused to come to any solution but to tell me and my spouse we need to learn how to make orders and that we were confused. We returned the wrong order and he even tried to give it back to us almost forcing it back upon us. He then turnt his back to us mid conversation even though we were being civilised as possible. Surely it isnt a company policy to issue service of this calibur and to respond to a customer imposing no threat by turning your back on the problem and the customer. Defies belief. That to me is provoking the customer even when you know it was a clear mis-understanding from both parties. He is clearly unfit for his job role, how he is in this job role serving customers with service that inept is astounding. Surely at no level is that qualified as even half decent customer service. Apart from this one member of staff i have no complaints especially with his supporting collegue who was very polite and understood the mis-understanding. We did in the end after much deliberation receive the refund for the mistaken order ' 20 minutes later ' once a supervisor was called, but it was too little late im afraid. We wont be returning due to that one individual who tarnished the experience and im sure he has ruined many other peoples experiences there and many more to come. Bad for business.
You give what you get and what we got was terrible subpar standard service. Truly sabotaged our visit. Is this the companys standard of service? Its a real shame but we wont think once let alone twice about entering this Kaspa's again. Im not surprised to see the other bad reviews on here either. Read moreFor me, the food is very good but what really ruined the night was the racist employee. I didn't know about it until we were going home. When my colleague asked for 8 glasses of regular water, this employee made a cringy face. We didn't know about it the face he made when my colleague asked for water. When he served the water requested, he served it angrily and spilled it on the table. Some of us thought it was just an accident. And then, he collected the used waffle plates then the glasses. We even helped him out by handing him the used utensils. We were done with our orders and of course had the chat that we looked forward for. So we spent some time there already. The time came when he asked us if we can leave already as there are other customers already. We agreed to leave without hesitation or grunting as we understand the feeling of waiting if there are no more seats in a restaurant. As we stood up, he was mumbling words with his irritated face. So I told him, "You know, we are customers too. You could at least treat us better. You asked and we agreed. You don't need to say anything else." And he continued to say words inaudible already as we find our way out of Kappas. So my colleague shared to us her first encounter with that employee when she asked for water which irritated me a lot!
