Was excited that a new biryani shop is opening in the area. Unfortunately all the hype ended up as disappointment. Chicken biryani was "so so", not as flavourful as what I am used to. 😐 Portion was not that great either, one of the smallest biryani servings I've had. The chicken meat was scarce. Barely one chicken leg. Same with the lamb meat, not generous enough. 🤦♂️ It also seems that the biryani wasn't fresh. Doesn't seemed like a "fresh from the pot" biryani. It looked and smelled like a microwave heated. 😶 When I went there, it wasn't that crowded but still had to wait almost 10-15 mins for my meal to be served. I felt ignored for a few minutes until asked for my order. I would not have minded if the food was freshly cooked but then again, it seemed that it was just came out from the microwave.😶 Another thing that shocked and disappointed me was the added cost when you eat in. All meals costs £1 more when you eat in. That would have been fine if it would feel like a fine dining ambiance and a great service but it far from it. The side and under the table were still a bit sticky and oily. 🙃 Good thing is they accept card payments so it's convenient. Apologies for the rating but for someone who loves his biryani and literally eats one or two portions almost every day, I was just not satisfied. Still went back for a few occasions hoping for a redeemable chances but still ended up feeling the same. The marked up prices for dine in customers still doesn't make sense 😒. Won't be my first choice for a biryani. I'd rather walk a few metres up the road for a more authentic and...
Read moreThe staff with glasses is the reason I will never return. Very rude, too much attitude, and fake humbleness. I was a customer of your restaurant for over a year, and I have had a similar experience with the same staff member three or more times.
To the owners: This staff member behaves differently toward customers when you are present versus when you are absent.
(It was 12:05, and I asked the staff member very nicely if the biryani was ready. He took about ten seconds to respond; he seemed disinterested in serving me.instead of saying yes/no, His response was "Which biryani do you want?" Which was way too rude. Recognizing his tone, I asked, "Which biryani is unavailable right now?" He said, "All biryanis are ready." He just has too much attitude and probably doesn't like the owners.) This staff member is the reason you are losing business. Maybe he should find...
Read moreHaving recently dined at this place, I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and flavor of their offerings. While the dine-in experience was average, lacking somewhat in ambiance and decor, the food itself more than made up for it. The Briyani, a true star of the menu, was perfectly cooked with fragrant rice and well-spiced, tender meat that evoked the true essence of Hyderabad. The Chicken 65 was another highlight, offering a delectable combination of crispiness and spicy kick, which makes it a must-try for anyone who appreciates genuine Indian flavors.
The restaurant also offers catering services, which I found to be very efficient and professional, ensuring that the same quality and taste found in their restaurant are delivered for events. This spot is definitely a great choice if you’re craving traditional Hyderabadi Briyani without flying...
