Le Bon Cafe — Restaurant in London

My cousin introduced me to this place several years ago when she lived in the area. Thankfully it is still there serving delicious food. Very friendly staff. We had eggs benidic beans mushrooms toast which was great.What I love about this place is that it is decorated with lovely ornaments I think from North Africa. Second it is one of the very few places (perhaps the only one)around where you can still get a fry up at 4pm..you would be hard pressed to find a place still offering that at that time . They have smoothies and real fruit juices. The food is reasonably priced. On warm days they open the doors at the front so you get nice fresh air coming in . It makes for a nice setting. When I m in the area I will eat there again. There is a tv which is sometimes on I think more for background noise. We always leave...

Le Bon Cafe, a popular spot for breakfast is an unsuspecting Moroccan restaurant which I have been meaning try. Finally went in but didn't try the Moroccan dishes as planned but will revisit again another time. To be fair, the Moroccan menu had a good range of the usual suspects like the tangine, pancakes and briwat. It seems the breakfast is more popular possibly because it is cheaper than the Moroccan dishes. I had the American pancakes with salmon and scrambled egg which was how it should be. It was served stacked which was quite different and the pancakes were thick and soft unlike the supermarket ones which you can buy. I've been going to this place for years. And if you follow my reviews, you know I'm big on customer service. The food is delicious, and the chef, owner, and owners son are really cool people. Always willing to have a friendly chat. The only thing is the staff. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, but they just don't seem happy, and the interactions have a tense undertone. The decor is 10, the atmosphere is chilled, I'd rather they not have on the news cos it's usually depressing stories. But I like cafe and I think more people should give it a try.
