I think I would have preferred a microwave curry from the co-op next door!
The bhajis were past the term ‘overcooked’ and had no taste, almost as if eating a clump of crispy/chewy shoelaces from an old boot dropped in oil. Tried a bite out of each, it was the same oral experience across the board for them all, 0/10.
The curry’s we both got, a vindaloo and a tikka masala, wasn’t the greatest, rubbery chicken and not much filling, 75% was literally sauce. A man such as myself who has had many a curry, hasn’t had a day after like that if you can read between the lines! Being completely empty, we expected real effort being put into the food, there was not real effort put into our food. The barren landscape should have acted...
Read moreI love a good curry! I would normally use maharani, the mountain view or the ababil. However, I fancied a change don’t ask me why. I spent £32 and it arrived in under 20 minutes, and that’s were the positives end. The food was mediocre at best, luke warm and the portion sizes microscopic! For example the motor paneer (peas and melted cheddar!) barely covered the bottom of the tin, the tikka chilli masala consisted of 5 small chunks of chicken with a real lack of sauces priced at £8 I might add. All in all not a very pleasant experience won’t be going back. If you want to get ripped off and end the night hungry this is the...
Read moreI'm so DISGUSTED by this restaurant. My partner had an allergy to a dish so the chef/owner came to speak to us. He was very rude and had no sympathy for my partners condition. I heard him and some of his staff whispering saying my partner wasn't having a reaction when clearly he was! He stated that he won't serve us again simply because he had a reaction. In all my years I've never experienced such rudeness. And ontop of it the food was dry and very small portions. I would not advise anyone to go to this restaurant! Simply disgusting all round!! If I could give the zero...
