This pub is certainly not to everyone's taste. It is very large with two pool tables, a dartboard and a large exterior seating area. The prices are cheap, I took advantage of the spirits special offer, a double bells whisky for £3.90, which is cheaper than my local Wetherspoons. However, they have no cask ale and only five whiskies. This pub is very much a locals pub but I did engage in some good conversation. I was here at 6pm on a Tuesday and it was quiet which maybe explains why this pub will be closing in April (it has closed before). Read moreHORRIFIC PUB_ have just had the.misfortune to.attend a child's 5th birthday party at this venue..Have never been in a public house with such a rude and miserable landlord in my whole life..She complained about every little thing the children touched from the snooker cues to treed an mess and whatever else she could think of. The children were not badly behaved at all .But running around enjoying themselves. as would any 5 year old. ..She wasn't any more polite to passing trade either but still if you don't like noise and mess n kids don't take bookings for kids parties....
