Very average experience at this restaurant, I like to try newly opened restaurants, especially after they have had some time to adjust and address any opening issues. On first appearances this place presents well, it is clean and fresh looking. The layout is good, and has a nice area for seating. You order at the till and pay, I was dining in, and found the seating area clean and comfortable. The food order came out wrong, and it wasn't complicated and the restaurant wasn't busy, unfortunately that mistake had no excuse, just human error and poor listening skills. The person at the till was friendly and was clearly trying their best. Given we was eating in the restaurant the food should have been brought to our table, it wasn't, I was called over to pick it up from the counter, unexcusable error, other local restaurants would never allow that, even if you got up to get the food, they offer customer service (learn the importance of this). Ok so when the food did arrive it wasn't presented in a way which I thought worked. It was given in a bowl, and the chips seperate just on a tray. Take note, get some plates and offer your eating in customers a proper eating in experience. The food was ok for the price paid, and in my opinion the volume of food served (especially the meat element) was very low. Despite ordering a donor kebab, I was served a donor sandwich. The food needs to be represented properly, based on the menu and pictures, and named appropriately. What I was served should be called a donor sandwich with chips. Start servicing proper donor kebabs and build up volume sales, the way you are operating you will not gain repeat business from people wanting a donor kebab. I imagine some of the other negative comments to the donor meat having a stale smell is because your using the same donor spit all week as the volume of kebabs you get through is very low. My suggestion is understand the kebab business much better, high volume is key. The eating in experience isn't great either, the seating area is good, but very cold and lacked any warmth. The food gets cold quick and you freeze while you eat. I also would not suggest the owners/workers family members with small children sit in the back of the restaurant, is this a home or a restaurant? It's not a place I can recommend at the moment. Hopefully the owners will take the feedback in the way it is meant and they make the necessary improvements, as it is, it will never become busy, it is not a place I would return after my...

Read moreI rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at Manor Kitchen was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to warn others.
Let’s start with the staff — unfriendly, inattentive, and borderline rude. We were greeted with indifference and treated like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. No smiles, no warmth, and barely any eye contact. When we asked simple questions about the menu, the waiter acted annoyed and gave us one-word answers like we were wasting their time.
Now onto the food, which was somehow even worse. My meal arrived lukewarm and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for ages. The chicken was dry and overcooked, the vegetables were soggy and flavorless, and everything was overly salted to the point of being inedible. My friend ordered a salad that looked like it came straight out of a plastic container from a gas station — brown-edged lettuce, watery tomatoes, and a bland,...
