There are two occasions when I had disappointing experience at McDonald's Whaddon.
Incident 1 My 7-year-old daughter insisted on an eat-in so we went in, placed the order and found a table. When the order arrived, the waitress left quickly before I could check the order. There were no sauces and one of the drinks was missing. The till was only staffed with 1 person who was busy taking orders. After trying to get someone's attention for a few minutes, I gave up and returned to my table as my child was by herself and my food was getting cold.
Incident 2 Till operator got my order wrong and added one of the items to my order twice. I didn't think much of it and moved on to the next window. It was when they started handing me twice the items ordered, I realised and pointed out that I had only ordered on of those. They checked their receipts and informed me that the operator had mistakenly doubled my food order. Now it made sense as to why my McDonald's order was costing more than expected.
This is when my worst customer service experience at McDonald's started.
The manager came to the window and told me to pay attention to the screen when placing an order. I said, "isn't this something you should tell your staff?" but he had already ignored me and moved on before I could get halfway through my sentence.
I got a refund after waiting a few minutes in the parking lot but come on! Shouldn't he speak with his staff, asking them to pay attention? A customer in a car in the dark, with a hungry child in the back seat definitely shouldn't be blamed for mistakes made by McDonald's staff.
Awful experience. Will never go...
Read moreGood evening to the customers at Waddon McDonalds, I am once again taking the responsibility to write towards your amusement. I once again craved the taste of an overpriced feast to keep my body functioning for the day. I had already made a travel to McDonald’s in central London but the food was too nice, I had to get it twice. So I walk in with my girlfriend to order two small fries and a small Diet Coke. Not even five minutes in a commotion has to arise. As I laid my foot down to order via the touch screens. I stood in vomit. As in human rejection all on my shoe. May I also state I was wearing one of my many stylish suits. So I ordered, my girlfriend was thirsty and I was of greed. Ten minutes still waiting, and a young female who was wearing a minion costume got their food before me. A minion got their food before me. A minion. I was order number one, I should be first. Another ten minutes, my food finally arrived. I couldn’t wait to eat my food. So I left the restaurant eating my fries and my girlfriend drank her Diet Coke. Unfortunately due to the wait I must give this place only one star. Please do better McDonalds. I am appalled and disappointed that I come to give you my hard earned money and you yet again treat me like I’m worth only two pounds. Good say to you all. I have nothing good too say but at least this branch didn’t have a child locked in your toilets begging to not get sacrificed to Ronald McDonald in the...

Situated inside a leisure park, this McDonald's has 2 floors. It also has wireless charging pads on most of the designated tables.
I don't think McDonald's has any control over this, but the wireless charging pads on the tables are painfully slow.
You're much better off bringing your own charger, as they have 3-pin plug sockets under the tables. These are the designated tables. Not all have them.
Ample space located on the top floor. The overall ambience and atmosphere is nice and chill. Family-friendly and caters nicely for children.
It also has a nice view of the entire leisure park, with seats located next to the windows.
Staff were friendly and my order was serviced promptly.
Overall, cleanliness was satisfactory. The toilets were standard, but since this is a fast food restaurant I wouldn't be surprised if the toilets become unsanitary in a short space of time.
It also has a disabled toilet.
As I was seated on the top floor where the bins are, a member of staff nearly hit me with his mop, twice. He did have his back to me so pure negligence.
He was an old guy and I didn't make a big deal out of it. I would've felt a bit bad complaining, as it was unintentional and he's just trying to go about his day and do his job.
Having said that, he should be more conscience as I was sitting adjacent to the bins and...
