Merlinda's Cafe — Restaurant in London

Have stopped here in the past for a takeaway but yesterday I had time to sit and have something to eat.

I chose to have mushroom omelette with chips and beans, 2 toast and a tea.

When the food came it looked nice but like most places the beans were luke warm and as for the omelette, I took one bite and found it didn't taste right, I lifted it up to find it almost raw it was that wet inside.

I finished the toast andd chips but left the omelette as I've never seen one that wet.

Sadly for me first impressions are important and so that will be my only meal here.

I was having a part fitted at Halfords and it would take a up to 2 hours. I looked around the area and saw Merlinda's Cafe. Good choice of meals, I opted for thje medium breakfast, and prompt service. The meal was well presented and exactly what I ordered. I must admit the toast was the real highlight of the meal. It was a sudden find for coffee only, might go there again to try the food. Lovely and warm environment. Looked quite popular among locals. The interior was clean. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. The coffee was good but way too hot to drink even after 5 minutes. There were enough sitting places available. There was no queue. There is limited road side parking in front of the shop. Anyway, liked the place, wanna go again...
