Discovered this jewel of a restaurant last night driving around trying to find somewhere better than the entertainment estate on the a40 which is overrated. Best decision of rhe week!!
Very welcoming front of house staff with main woman so accommodating over my dairy intolerance (sorry!!) and identified all food that I was able to have without any fuss. Even served it to me as Saturday is buffet night so could have been very limiting if I had served myself.
Then to our surprise and delight, Saturday night is entertainment and live music night. OMG it was fantastic. Such a great vibe, lots of toe tapping and arm shimmying music, and lots of dancing. It has been a hard week and this was so comforting and stimulating at the same time. As much as I like Ealing it felt like we were transported to a Persian family home where the sun had set on the day, the tide was in and you could still hear the water gently lapping at the shore! It could be prescribed on the NHS for wellbeing!!
Food was fantastic, absolutely delicious. Loved the meze to begin, then main course where all meats were so succulent. I have used saffron in my cooking before but it didn't taste like this - it was so tasty! Food was so filling, plus so much of it, so shared the main course and still couldn't finish it. Music so uplifting and service top notch. All of this for £35 per head - a bargain. Get yourself there you won't be...
Read moreI will give one star for the marinated chicken skewer and one star for the hummus both were really tasty. Apart from this every thing else was poor. Pleasant but non-attentive staff, over cooked falafel, dry and crispy flat bread, bland lamb and mountain of rice that no average human could ever eat. The restaurant is clean and tidy with lovely mirrored tables. If they could just improve on the quality of the cooking and make more effort with their diners like asking is every thing OK a few minutes after the food is severed, take away the plates from the starters when the main course is served. Notice when diners have finished their meal and return to the table to see if they want anything else or the bill. I waited for 10 minutes with empty plates all over the table and had to go up to the till to pay. May be if the restaurant was busy I could understand, but their was only me and one other group in...
Read moreGot here late night after a disappointing visit to Wembley Stadium, and was feeling somewhat deflated. Walked in and there was a private function on, seemed like some sort of wedding bride shower. Quickly turned around to leave a tad tipsy and embarrassed when the staff approached me and could clearly see I was dejected and hungry. They asked me to wait outside and brought out a carrier bag full of the best biryani and sides I’ve ever had. I took it to my room at the premiere inn around the corner and 2 of my friends joined me to help out on the huge portions. I paid only £11. The food was magnificent and we struggled to eat it all. Hospitality and customer care at its very best, and was the highlight of the day. Thank you sooo...
