Visited this evening before we headed home after staying few days at Premier Inn . 1st plus Happy hour 5pm to 8pm so £3.50 a pint, we ordered our meals 2 lots of fish and chips and steak fries for our son. There was a long delay on the food so we ordered another drink. When the food arrived wow, we'll worth the wait very generous portions and the fish was delicious. The best I have had in years and we have an an award winning chippy as our local so praise indeed! My son's steak fries with extra bacon were outstanding too. We are back at the hotel in July and will definitely be paying you a visit again. Also a big heads up to the lovely friendly staff. Read moreWe stayed in the hotel next door - 14th and 15th Feb 25 and thought we would order some food to take back to the hotel. We phoned the order through and went to collect it shortly afterwards. Even though we were take away the atmosphere from the man I assume was the owner and that of the locals using the bar was brilliant and so welcoming. Everyone was polite and we even had the door opened for us on leaving. The food was excellent- fresh ,hot and absolutely huge portions. The ingredients were good quality and we were very happy. We were so impressed we ordered the second night as well and if back for the cheer comp at the arena won’t hesitate to come straight back. Thanks...
