Nestled in the heart of downtown, The Garden Bistro offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere with elegant decor and soft lighting that creates a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance.
The menu is a culinary journey, showcasing a variety of dishes that cater to diverse tastes. The appetizers set the tone for the meal; the truffle fries were perfectly crispy with a rich, earthy flavor, while the bruschetta featured fresh tomatoes and basil on crusty bread, a simple yet delightful start.
For the main course, the seared salmon was a highlight. Cooked to perfection, the fish was moist and flaky, served atop a bed of creamy risotto with a hint of lemon that balanced the richness of the dish. The vegetarian option, a butternut squash ravioli, was equally impressive, with a delicate sage butter sauce that enhanced the natural sweetness of the squash.
The Garden Bistro’s drink menu is extensive, featuring an impressive selection of wines and handcrafted cocktails. The signature cocktail, a blend of gin, elderflower liqueur, and fresh cucumber, was refreshing and perfectly balanced, complementing the meal beautifully.
Service at The Garden Bistro is impeccable. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to provide recommendations. They create a dining experience that feels personalized and thoughtful.
Dessert was a sweet ending to a memorable meal. The chocolate lava cake, with its gooey center and rich, intense flavor, was a decadent treat. Paired with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, it was a perfect conclusion to the dining experience.
Overall, The Garden Bistro stands out for its exceptional food, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding service. Whether for a special occasion or a casual dinner, this restaurant provides a dining experience that is sure to impress and leave a...
Read moreIf I could I would give this place zero stars! Went here for the first time with my daughter and 2 friends. where do I start.. arrived for our 8pm reservation and placed our order for drinks and starters straight away. Drinks came right away, however by 8 30 the starters had still not arrived. We asked one of the waiters who went to check on the order, came back and told us it was being plated up. It was now 8 45 and still no starters. spoke to the manager Deepak who told us it will be out in a minute. At 9pm still no starters so we complained to Deepak the "manager" who said that there was a miscommunication with the food order and that he will take the drinks off our bill. We told him that we will not be paying for the starters as we have been waiting an hour! He was very rude and was not willing to listen to what we were saying and just waved him arms about and spoke with alot of attitude. The apology was not very sincere but he finally agreed on not charging us for the starters. When we were handed our bill, they had charged for the poppadoms and the service charge! the service was absolutely diabolical from most of the staff there except one of the waiters, Rajesh who was so apologetic and kept coming over to check everything was ok. Deepak however is in noway fit to be a manager in this so called "fine dining" restaurant. When I asked the "manager" for his name, he lied and gave one of the other waiters name so that nothing comes back on him but I asked one of the other staff members who gave me his real name; Deepak!!
The food itself was tasteless and came out cold. This is the first and last time we will ever step foot in this place. i have friends who wanted to book 2 birthday parties here but have already warned them not to make that mistake! we understand that mistakes happen but the way Deepak handled the whole situation made it a whole lot worse. The management ie Deepak totally let...
Read moreOn our 1st visit, we tried Chilli Basil Paneer, Lasooni Jhinga, BBQ Lamb Chops with Roomali Roti in starters, & Mains we tried Hyderabadi Biryani, Tandoori Roti, with Daal Makhni Moka, drinks were Passion fruit juice & warm water with lemon. The food was delicious, yummy & just the right blend of spices & chilli, which for me is great as I can't eat hot spicy/chilly food. Daal Makhni was authentic home made style reminded me of my mum's & DadiJi's version, full of butter floating on the Top. A family member has Allergy to Jeera(Cumin) & Tomato so its been impossible to go eat an Indian Meal ouside as no restaurant caters for someone like that. We asked the owner & Head Chef, Ravinder sat & spoke to us. He gave us his personal contact number & asked that we give him 24hrs notice. We did exactly that & on our 2nd visit the family member was able to have all the dishes they ate catered around their allergy, which was around 4-5 dishes between starters & main course. 2nd time we tried Veg Tempura Roll, BBQ Lamb Chops, Lasooni Jhinga, Chilli Basil Paneer, Chicken Tikka, Butter naan, Chicken wings, Daal Makhani Moka ( not as good as 1st time, Daal Makhani without Butter), Black Cod Tikka, Roomali Roti.
The atmosphere is very subtle, relaxing & inviting. The staff are attentive, polite, smartly dressed & eager to provide a great dining experience to you. We were looked after by staff member Manveer both times along with another staff member Bharat. There is a good selection of Desserts we tried Mango Cheese Cake & Malai Kulfi. We will surely be back to dine in more.
