Really nice restaurant and food, the staff seems to have changed though for some reason and our waiter was a bit pushy and not so happy tonight, the one thing im really disappointed about and had never happened to us in my life was they charged us for a plastic takeaway dish🤔totally gobsmacked on this one ? I know we all have to make a profit in life but after spending £140 for a meal i was totally shocked at this, they even mixed the meat and chowmein together that we took home to which is really not on, really disappointed at this kind of service So a restaurant that we really loved unfortunately wont be getting my money and custom again, such a shame .
I’ve recommended this place to so many people in the past as well, but not again this will be our last visit all because of there greed and disgusting...
Read moreWe dined here on a Saturday night. I can imagine, if you are regular here, then it may seem like the place to go. However, as first timers we felt incredibly overlooked. The dim sum were the worst I’ve had. The wine was sour. On the plus side, the stir fried vegetables were tasty. In a town with such great restaurants, I imagine that Moon Lee Garden relies solely on the service of regulars. I look forward to my next trip to the...
Read moreDined in as a table of 6. O pop parking outside, but unless it’s before 18:30 or on a Sunday, you’ll need the Ringo app and pay £3 ish for parking.
Drink order was taken promptly and efficiently.
Food was fresh, delicious and hot. We asked for soy and chilli sauce which was supplied. Just a small gripe, between each course the soy sauce was taken away, so we needed to re request having it back. Soup was tasty, duck was excellent and the noodles were perfect ( but could’ve done with a bigger portion to share between the 6 of us) My favourite was kung po chicken and would recommend.
The bill came to £185 with tip, which seemed about right.
Overall a great place to have good food in Hornchurch. Would...
