The moment I walked into Mum's Bistro I could feel the warm and festive atmosphere, and knew I had come to a special place. The cosy room was filled with happy conversation, and the kind of gentle and all-inclusive buzz that one feels when joining a family gathering. It was a cold night, and the slightly exotic, inviting smell of delicious food was a balm to my senses. The food is so reasonably priced and cooked fantastically well. The staff treat you like family and Roger, the resident singer, never fails to entertain us with his brilliant voice and of course the opportunity for a bit of karaoke and dancing. It's completely different to anything else out there and I can't imagine life without such a special little place for us to...
